Searching after 'hot' guys, while normal in Western society, is in one sense profoundly un-Christian. Marriage is a lifelong covenant...and being 'hot' doesn't indicate if a guy can cut the grade 10-20-30-40-50 years down the road. As one of my JC-LDS church leaders says, "everyone will get gray hair, have illnesses of the aged, get wrinkles, etc...but will the commitment to love remain?"

As for the Mormon boys, depends on the motives. Some women invite the Mormons to their homes because they're young attractive guys, which arouse platonic or lustful longings. Not too many will admit it. Others invite the missionaries into their houses for spiritual relief, reinforcement of Church concepts, companionship and such...and if the guys are cute, it's a side benefit. But, if 'they're hot young guys' is the reason one is seeing the elders...it's the wrong reason.

Mormons are Christians, so it's contradictory for one to think that Christian women can't date Mormon guys. Whoever told you this really means "we (insert religion/sect of Christianity here) don't think you should date Mormon boys."

Ultimately, God will pick our partners for us to love...if we get out of the way. What God has in mind for us is way beyond what we can imagine. Many guys and girls have 'defective pickers'...they consistently choose the wrong kind of person to date...and then blame it on the opposite sex (ie, all men suck).

This may read pretty corny, but many have only been eating hamburger, and won't recognize the taste of steak on their own because they haven't ever had it. But God wants us to have love in our lives, in our homes, in our hearts...and will do everything He can to make it possible for us. This is, in one sense, a deeper sense of redemption. This means that God will give us the opportunity to eat steak, rather than settle for hamburger...

If we surround ourselves with love in our lives, then we have more than enough love to give love back to God. After all, what goes in, comes out. Read John for more on this, if you're a scripture creature...

To me, this principle suggests that one should have a strong spiritual discernment, because marriage is one of the few decisions that can only be made once (along with "do I/don't I shoot heroin" "do I/don't I get baptized", "do I/don't I have children" etc)

Choose the right....

You seem to be misinformed, Mormons ARE Christian. A Christian is a person who believes that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, who suffered and died for our sins. We believe all of the above, therefore making the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter- Day Saints (aka Mormon) a Christian church.
As for Mormon boys, I love them! All the LDS boys that I know are nice, friendly, faithful people. Not to mention their high standards, they do not smoke, drink, do drugs, or anything that is harmful. They have great spirits, and are worthy priesthood holders. They have good goals, like going on a mission, get married in the temple, and have a family. They learn and want these things at a young age. Mormon or nonMormon, wouldn't you want to date a person like that? So the question really is, why not?

Mormons are Christian, so other christians should be allowed to date them, but usually they have a very high standard for who they want to date. Don't expect to jump in the sac with them, or go to wild parties. Usually that won't be happening. If they are true LDS boys, they will hold to the standards of the church. If you are fine with that, and they are fine with dating someone outside the church, then fine. They are just like many other boys. Usually they are caring and sweet and more concerned with treating you right then themselves. But I can't speak for all of them!! Although, my mormon hubby is pretty cute!! ;)

many mormon boys marry girls out of the mormon church its not like they wont marry u if thats what u r afraid of some do want to get married in the temple which is considered the most sacred marriage in the church.and if they do want to get married in the temple they do want to convert.
so if he wants you to go to the temple with him which is the most beautiful thing ever i suggest to see the missionaries right away and find out what u need to do to become a member.but yes many mormons dont require you to become a member. but they value their beliefs and principles very deeply.
