ok, i don't want to generalize and say ALL of them avoid complicated and difficult questions. Many atheists simply answer with insults. Why is that? Why is it so hard for atheists to say that they are not always correct and their belief in nothing doesn't answer all of life's questions? Instead of insulting someone with a good question, why can't they put their ego aside and say that they could possibly be wrong just once?

yuri, thank you for your insult, walking atheist cliche.

eri, i am not hostile. don't be so paranoid. a good example would be the question i asked, which you answered, about evolution experiments. 22 answers and about 5-8 were atheists and most from them were insults. normally there will be 30-40 answers from atheists. there are tons of good questions that atheists refuse to answer, yet they will never say they dont have all the answers

I am an atheist and I will answer any question put before me regardless of whether is a difficult or not. I really think you should look into how religious people answer. Very rarely do you see a christian say "Hey, I might be wrong" (in fact I haven't seen it yet), and they just go on and on about saving all the atheists. Maybe they should channel all that energy in to saving people who truly need it, like the starving children.

And just for you. I might be wrong - but so might you.

Your question about evolution wasn't 'difficult' it was ridiculous. If something takes millions of years, you're not going to be able to recreate it yourself, that goes without saying. And that's not how science works anyway, no one's ever reproduced a black hole or a shooting star or a volcano in a laboratory. But they've been observed, and so has evolution.
And of course atheism doesn't answer all of life's questions. The fact that there is no god has nothing to do with most of life's questions. And obviously science doesn't have all the answers, that's why we still have scientists.

I've read alot of your questions, and i have yet to find a difficult one. They are all answered though, with well thought out answers, but of course you don't see that because the answers are not what you are looking for.
Your questions are rude, offensive, ignorant, and mainly just a waste of time.
If you're looking for an intelligent conversation or debate, then open up your mind a little and be able to have an intelligent debate. Instead of blaming Atheists, start blaming yourself.

Too many on ALL sides just carry a title.....and do not do anything more than carry that title.

Like they say....only 5% of the masses actually pay attention. The other 95% follow the herd.

Well those that answer questions, no matter what, and are polite, no matter what, no matter the belief......those are the 5% from above.

Like they say......tis a small word......and I bet someone in that 5% came up w/ that :)

On the contrary, most difficult questions FROM atheists are filled with answers saying "because God wanted it that way"; whereas questions answered BY atheists are well-backed.

Again, I'm speaking generally.

Maybe because they think that the real answer to the difficult questions would fry the brains of the Christians.

BTW I have never heard an atheist claim that they are always correct. I have heard Christians claim that the Bible is.

ok .... can you please tell me what type of difficult questions?

Anyway, a true atheist would not mind being proven wrong .... nothing is perfect, no one is all knowing, hence wrong is a way of learning .....

A true christian would be mind very much to be proven wrong .... as everything in the bible (to them) is true and hence cannot be wrong, if it is proven wrong, then the person who prove them wrong is going to be burnt in hell ;P.

Please tell me I am wrong ;).

(You were talking about re-creating evolution? Earth takes millions of years to evolve and you think you can recreate that?

Moreover, you wanted to "evolve" a woodchuck to a beaver, what kind of evolution is that? You might like to learn science better, like category?

A small example would be the resistance of bacteria against anti-biotic, you can try on that if you want to know evolution. However, you have to be biochemistry or medically trained to be able to do that properly.)

B) Many of us have been answering these questions for years and are simply tired of the same dialogue.
C) I have not noticed anyone admitting they "might be wrong."
D) Post a "difficult" question, I'll answer.

If you insist to spend time in the endless loop, you can call it difficult question.

The matter of fact is, if you dare and wake up, you will know regardless what you do, you still will be air and water after you gone. Same where you came from.

Why do Christians avoid EVERY question, simple or not?

Seriously, I want to know. I'm a Pagan, and the avoidance of things, or regurgitating information is annoying.
