In the Old Testament there are over 300 prophecies referring to Jesus coming to earth. Jesus fulfilled every one of them perfectly. It is impossible for Him to have planned that. In the New Testament it talks about a place prepared for us. There is no reason not to trust what the Bible says about Heaven.

If you think you are the only one who has creeping doubts soemtimes...join the club. Every Christian does from time to time. You should read the Bible and find some comforting verses that you can think about when you are scared.
Also I would suggest researching and reading some Christian apologetics books. C.S. Lewis had some great stuff in "Mere Christianity". Find out what you believe and why you believe it. There are thousands of Christian Apologists that have written books on things that made them doubt sometimes. That is where faith comes in. If you didn't doubt...you could not use any faith. Trust that the Bible is true and reassure yourself that it is.
You might also be comforted to know that athiests doubt what they believe just as often as Christians. I think they have far more reason to be scared than you do.
God Bless.

Why would you be scared if there was a Heaven? Would you be scared because if you believe in Heaven, than you must believe in Hell?
I believe there is a Heaven and that I will go there upon death. Heaven is nothing to be afraid of. Hell however, is a scary proposition.
Just trust and do not be afraid.

If you really want to know, pray in faith. That is, wanting to believe that God will answer your prayers. Ask Him a yes/no question, such as "is there a heaven?" Then wait for Him to answer you in His time and in His way.
Very important! Read His words. He often will answer your prayers that way.
Another way is to discuss it with someone who does not doubt, and ask them why they know there is a heaven.
I will tell you that I KNOW that God lives and loves you personally. He wants you to live with Him in Heaven because you are His child. He is the perfect parent who you have always longed for. God has healed my wounds. He can heal yours. He wants to!

Stacey, Why do you worry about "if there is a Heaven"? God tells us that he lives there and that Jesus went there, so there must be. Are you concerned about going there yourself?? It should not even be a consideration for you. The earth was created to be a paradise and IT WILL BE--wouild it be so horrible to live here if it was??

it's normal, your faith is still shaky, just like a baby trying to walk for the first time.
It's OK, what you should do is pray more , and it's usually the devil who's making you worry.
worry is for the devil.
when you feel that way, just pray and it will ease all your worry.

Think about it logically. It doesn't exist.
Don't expend your energy and lose sleep contemplating a mystical, illogical after-life life. That itself is a paradox.
Direct your attention toward ethical behavior and making the most of life now, both for you and for others. It's all we've got.

Yep, that is reason poking its head in. I don't know why that scares you. It is just like before you were born.

I believe in Heaven and Hell. But MOST importantly, I BELIEVE In Jesus Christ. It's not what we believe in but who we believe in. He's a solid rock-unmoveable-unshakable!
