did jesus really die for our sins, or could it be some-one else.
i think that it was Judus, if you look at the text. jesus died then resurrected and ended up in heaven.
Judus was condemned to eternal suffering . ie he would now forever be punished for all our sins, for he should a human weaknesses .

Raven, you have spooned it by saying that there are other sources that prove it. I'm interested to know how you prove weather someone has died for your sins or not?
please let me in on this test?
2nd, many don't believe in it, which is fair enough, i'm just asking the question

I don't want anyone dying for my sins. My sins are my own. And I don't believe in sin, I just believe in bad deeds done for self gratification or malicious intent.

Apparently Jesus. But did he die for sins not yet commited?
Obviously. So why did God create a world where sins would be commited? AND why are we still commiting?
Is it intended to learn so called lessons? To evolve up the learning ladder. So why then do christians try to live such perfect lives, with no mistakes?
I know exactly what im trying to say. Whether it came out ok is another story.

If someone had died for our sins that means everyone goes to heaven anyway?! How can you die for someones sins if they haven't been born yet?! As for you question about the colour of Jesus- the Bible says, he had hair like wool and feet the colour of brass.

I always was told it was Jesus. Now you make me think again. Indeed. I like the idea that someone can wash my sins in the blood of his mortal shell and then ascend to Heaven. Eternal suffering is a rather annoying idea, though. Especialy for poor old Judus.

Jesus is dead or jesus is alive. one or the other. Dead thing only come back to life in horror movies and cartoons.
If Jesus is alive then he did not die and nobody is saved. If Jesus died then He was not God and nobody gets saved.
Judas died, He did not un-die himself so he is the only one that paid any price in this fantasy. Yes Judas died for your sins.
Bring on your thumb downs, they only prove me right.

Jesus died for our sins.
John 3:16-21
16)For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17)For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
19)This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20)Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21)But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

Judas could not have died for our sins because he had his own sin to pay for. Only Jesus could pay for our sins because He had no sin of his own to be accountable for. That made him the only qualified one to do it. He paid our debt, and was then resurrected and assumed into Heaven.
Just a quick comment -- do not confuse "sin" with "sinful deeds." A sin is not a "bad act" that you do. Sin is a condition of existing apart from God. All humans exist in a state of sin, but Christians transcend that state upon death and can reunite with God because of the debt that Jesus paid on our behalf.

Jesus died for us. then he was resurrected. and rose up to heaven. he really died for us. resurrection was a prophesy that Jesus would do in order to prove he was the Messiah.
