Why is it here? Because it's here! Why does it happen? Because it happens. Why do humans feel that everything must have a reason?

Ah. Taoists have pondered these questions for many years.

And in the end they came up with two answers. Who knows? and Who cares?

Well, the actual words are "The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; The name that can be named is not the eternal name" but I think it amounts to the same thing.

Because only speculation not 'knowledge' is possible. And when it comes down to it, planting a garden or enjoying a cup of tea in the sunshine is a more useful way to spend ones time.

I hope you have a great day. And please take time out to enjoy the sunshine and think of me somewhere else doing the same. Separate but one. Perhaps that should be my new catchphrase?

If I knew I wouldn't be here. But then I am sure there are plenty of people willing to accept fast and easy answers that come from some book a bunch of guys wrote in the desert.Personally, I like not knowing why or how.It leaves room for thinking about possibilities.

Universe is the play ground of God. Though he sports, he is not affected basically, He enjoys his play with all dolls(human , animal and inate objects.) It is a very complex problem to explain God in the logical sense. He pervades the Universe and transcends it. nagarajan.

I don't know for sure but my guess is it is here probably to support billions of lifeforms throughout. I know it supports mankind and mankind supports it by being able to acknowledge the existence of it. Why exist unless it is known to exist.
