If you invite guests over but didn't tell them an exact time to be at your home, and then later call and tell them to hurry up because they're running late but didn't tell them in advance when to be there? I think that is rude, am I right?

Is nudity wrong if it's not meant to be sexually immoral, or to make people look at you. I don't think people should walk around nude where they force others to see them. I also think posing in a magazine is wrong, however is there a place where you can just me nude... outside without hurting you or someone else?

i was at a fireworks show yesterday for 4th of July Eve. and it had several food stands my dad and i went to the mexican food stand and bought some food for ourselves and my brother. we ordered the food my dad left to go find my brother who was saving a spot for us, after our order was ready i went out to find my brother and dad eventually i did on the other side of the park; but we didnt have any forks. so i went off with my food in hand to go get some forks. i went to the nearest vendor to grab some forks and said playfully: " im going to steal some forks is that ok?" and i reach out but the man there stops me and says "i cant let you do that; you need to go to the place where you bought your food." (which was on the other side of the park.) so i just give him a wierd look and walk off and go get my forks at the mexican stand.

i found it completley ridicoulous that the man wouldnt let me grab some gosh darn forks. and i mean it wasnt like he had 5 or 6 left he had several dozen.

I am 39 years old. I look my age give a year or two back or forward depending on makeup and clothes. I am at a Kohls store buying a swimsuit I found on sale. The cashier goes through her speel of asking if I want it on the store charge or if I want a store charge. I answer no. She scans the suit and then asks me if I want to use my senior discount! OH MY GOD! I had my 15 month old son with me to boot! I came unglued. Those standing behind me took a few steps back as they knew she was possibly taking her last breath of air where she stood. The guy standing behind me looked at her and asked her what the age for the senior discount was. She said 65. He proceded to tell her she was one dumb ninny. I told her I am no where near 65! i went completely off! The manager had to step in and finish the sale. I told that girl she had better get a brain somewhere because if I had not have had my son with me she would have been eating the floor she stood on. Why are people so dumb!?

My boyfriend and I have been together for over five years and are not married. We are also not planning on getting married anytime in the near future. However, whenever we meet someone, they almost always ask "how long have you been together?" When we say 5 years, they almost always ask "When are you getting married?" or "Where's the ring??" or something similiar. We would rather not discuss our private reasons for not getting married & find it rude that people ask us this, especially if we DO give some sort of answer & they keep harping on it. What would be a good response to this question without being rude in return? They also sometimes ask "You do want to get married right?" or something similar. Any suggestions you guys may have would be great. Thanks! :)

Help,my new neighbours are driving me crazy!. they live above me,and have wooden floors. the problem is that they seem to be quiet all day, then come to life at night.it may sound like i am joking, but i am not-- their bed starts bashing against the floorboards at 3.30 am most nights!.it goes on for about 40 mins, then there are feet banging on the floor, toilet constantly flushing, raised voices. i end up lying awake, fuming for over an hour, and end up really tired for work. i have tried writing a note, but it hasn't made any difference. please, any advice!. i know it may sound funny to some, but i am deadly serious, how can you tell people you have never met to keep the bed quiet??? any ideas appreciated!!

What was once called the "Retail" Industry is now called the "Service" Industry. Employees are forced to smile and greet and now when you pay ask the customer to donate to different charities. Do you feel this is an appropriate place to solicite donations?

We have a co worker who really stinks a lot. He's a nice, down to earth person.. But we cannot stand his smell he smells a combination of curry and underarm sweat. Most of the time his hair shows signs of dandruff.. I think its a cultural or religious belief not to take a bath for a period of time.. Now the question is,, How can we approach him in a way he wont be offended.

Imagine this - you bought new underwear and wore it on the way to your office because you are afraid u might be late for this very important business meeting with your boss and clients.

Just as soon as the meeting starts u start feeling terribly uncomfortable down there. Im talking about excruciating pain here. U dint feel it was this bad before because u werent sitting down. What would you do?

I have been searching for photos of my father for over 12 years... he passed when I was seven years old.... I am now 35. I had a wonderful father, but due to a fire didn't have a photo of him since age 7. An aunt who I have not seen since that time, sent me photos last week (via mail) and I finally have two photos of him. It has meant the world to me. Can you help me write a thank you card that will accompany flowers? Thank you!

I've noticed quite a few answers suggest NOT tipping waiters because there is a service charge. Waiters are generally so poorly paid and usually depend on the tips to make up a good wage for the tiring and patience trying job they do! We always tip 10% wherever we eat, as long as the waiter is polite, clean and adequately efficient. So don't be mean...put yourself in his/her shoes (bunions and callouses and all!) Don't you agree?

*You arrive at work. You see your boss, with whom you are on good terms but have strictly a professional relationship. She spoke about her sick dog the other day. Let's call this dog "Muffy."*
You: Good morning!
Boss: Good morning. How are you?
You: I'm doing well, thanks, and you?
Boss: Fine, thanks.
You: So, how is Muffy?
Boss: Well, we had to put her down.
Me: Oh, no. I'm so sorry to hear that.

*long pause*

So, dear Yahoo! Answerers, what happens next? What would you honestly do or say?

I just met this person and that person was supposed to rent a house. He said he'd call but he didn't. I suppose he doesn't want the house. I would have called to say that I don't want it if I had said that I'd call. Is his behavior normal?

If you are walking through a store and someone goes by or you are stuck next to someone in line that REALLY stinks due to body odor. I don't understand how they cannot smell themselves when it is to the point that anyone next to them is covering their faces or trying not to gag. Is there a polite way to say something to them?
