How did you come to this conclusion?
Americans have a way of living and that is better than many people all over the world. Americans are hard working. Most of them are honest. They are talkative and give their opinion readily. They may not be very sentimental and very empathetic. There may be some ego, and hypocrisy. But you see that far more in others.

No, it's great. Americans are generous people. There is a lot of money here, to be sure, but if you were to eliminate for just one month what Americans give to others around the world both through government aid and private donations, I think many people would be shocked at the consequences. I think our movies and television shows give a very unrealistic view of who we are as Americans. The best way to find out about our style of living is to really get to know some Americans.

Yeah, I would much rather prefer the style of living in Niger.

Hopefully when you ask this question you are talking about the developed world and not including the starving countries.

Huh?

What is an american style of living? There are a multitude of styles of living in most countries of the world.

Dumb question.

people of every nation have their own style of living, and i dint think American life style is very worst.Ithink they are open, frank and they are very confident in what they do,for example if we consider the marital relations of Americans their affairs were very open.If they dint want to live with their respected spouse or hubby they were able to explain their situation and leave.Culture does`nt matter for them.but in some of the asian countries they need to maintain a secret relationship with an affair.Culture matters them and at the same time they cannot control their emotions, that leads to big crisis in their family and results in murders, suicides, divorce etc.So for the people who are very modern and frank american life style is ok and it is a matter depends on each individuals opinion.

It may not be worse , but it is very mechanical and human beings also become machines i.e no sense of any relation , any feeling etc. Mostly people have a careless / ignoring attitude - too practical to be human and it is very bad. It is not that they do not have emotions ... thing is they do not have expressions . Also, they do not have any limit , for any thing - they only realise when they undego some problem ... their culture is such - niether they belive in bondages nor they respect human values as we have in Asia.

I don't think so. At least in the United States we have many opportunities to improve ourselves. To work and save for anything that we want. So many people here reach many goals in their lifetime. We can be happy or miserable. We can feel sorry for ourselves and wallow in our filth or get up and make the most of every day and every dollar and every loved one and every moment of happiness.
God Bless America this 4th of July and every other day.

Depends on what qualities your basing it on.

America is worse in terms of waste, not so great in healthcare, but its far from worst in the world.
