anyone who does this?

It pleasures him to see all the 'company people' act so concerned & upset... He truly hopes each & everyday he comes into work that the company falls short of its goals. Not that he's not going to do his work, he will do it the best he can but still is very pleased when the company fails.

Everyone else's morale is down, worried about getting fired/laid-off, and he's prancing around like a fairy .... what is wrong with him?

I have a large box of cards I inherited from my mother. She had put the envelopes around the cards. Now they are all stuck together: card & envelop. What is the quickest way to unstick a lot of them at once?

I do not celebrate Christmas for a myriad of reasons, both religious and personal - I am, however, dating someone who does celebrate, but as more of a familial than religious thing. He wants to involve me in the familial gatherings and such, and I am not sure how to do this. How do I handle that this year? I don't want to offend anyone, but at the same time, feel uncomfortable celebrating something I am not on board with. How do I handle the traditions and gifting and other things while not being anti-social or offensive? I want this to go smoothly, but don't want to have to compromise my own beliefs.

My little brother had gone outside to get his blanket out of the car, and my neighbor came across the street to ask him if they wouldn't mind if he borrowed our trash can to put a dead deer in. My little brother came in the house and was going to ask my parents and he had already hauled the trash can across the street to put the deer in. Trash day was the next day so we figured that he was going to just let the trash man take it, but he didn't- he put a sign on it that said "For Animal Control, Dead Deer". The deer has been sitting there for 2 days now, and I'm assuming that he did call the animal control to come pick it up, but obviously nobody else has noticed it because it's in our trash can rotting away in the 100 degree heat along with a little bit of trash on the bottom. What would you have done in this situation, and what would you do now because the trash can is going to smell like horrible rotting deer and trash after the animal control comes to pick it up?

In your opinion, which way are you supposed to wear your wedding ring?

Should the band go on first (closer to your wrist) with the solitaire on top -- or the other way around?

Thanks!

I have a lunch interview with 2 of the HR Managers and their boss tomorrow. I already had an interview with the 2 HR Managers at their office a couple of weeks ago. They were very friendly and asked the basic interview questions. They are looking to hire 2 people. So I have been invited to lunch with the 3 of them plus one other candidate. So i am wondering if they are having lunch with several candidates and doing it 2 at a time. What kind of questions do you think they will ask? I know they will want to see how I can interact socially and if their boss will like me. We are having lunch at one of their restaurants. Its a company that owns several well known restaurants. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Why?

I find it very disgusting that some people just walk straight back and forth (not to mention their pets too) in and out of their home with their footwear on. My parents were like this, and I found it to be very low class and dirty, especially with carpet.

Sure, they say that the typical phone is more contaminated than the bottom of your shoe, but hey, that doesn't mean that your shoe is clean. I'm not just talking about mud, dirt, and rain water, but about the things that are or have recently been there: dog urine/feces, spit, gum, cigarette butts, garbage in general, pollution, public washrooms --- head into the city and you can add multiply all this by 100.

Even if you live in a dry sunny place, it's the same thing, in fact, there would be little rain to wash away all the filth, it would just build up. Would you get down and lick the sidewalk while standing at the bus stop or washroom? Yet, people take these shoes inside, where they and their kids are often on the floor.

I'm babysitting 2x this week, and they gave me a twenty, and it's only for an hour each time. This seems like a lot to me. How can I say this to them? Also, if that twenty could include 2x next week....how would I put that? Or next time, how do I insist on less than $10? just feel guilty accepting that much money.

OK I know it's petty but I'm not happy about it lol

I spent a bit of time writing out an answer to this question. Upon checking to see who got best answer I see that some guy further down the page has got best answer but he has just blatantly copied and pasted mine as he answer!!! But he got best answer and not me!!! Clearly the asker has not even read my answer - is it because I'm female?!? Just because I don't have a **** doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about!!

Let me say with an example; I am a model and when I go for my shoots and campaigns at times the male models act very arrogant and mean. For no reason at all. They just think they are very good looking hence all things should be first for them. This is not for all of them just a few I have come across. I tend to be well mannered and friendly just as most others are but some of these just start acting big and then it ends in a problem since I start fighting with them for no reason at all.

Any good tips to handle some of these men who think the world is at their feet?!!

Thanks,

MG

I was at the movie theatre and I saw a mistake in a movie i saw recently, (Transformers) so i stood up to tell my fellow moviegoers of this mistake before i forgot about it. But amazingly, everyone started telling me to sit down and be quiet, one person even through a peice of popcorn at me!

Dont these people know proper theatre ediquette, you cant just yell at people if theyre trying to inform you about a films mistakes. I called security but i was just appauled when they just chuckled and left like i was joking.

That is why i am never going back to that theatre again!
