I hosted a BBQ yesterday and I noticed a few people pulled my shower curtain back (humm?) and I heard my bathroom cabinets being opened. I had toliet paper and a hand towels insight. WTH! Am I the only one that thinks this is a little strange and invasive? Why do people so this??

I believe you should walk on the right side of the sidewalk, and anyone who comes prancing towards you should either move away, or be urinated on (and laughed upon).
Walking the sidewalk is like driving - stick to the right side, unless you're a homosexual Brit, who drive on the left side.

My friends and I are always arguing about tip. I say that we should always leave tip even when the bill comes with a 10% service charge. They say that the service charge is the tip. Eventually they all walk out and i end up leaving a tip from my own pocket alone. Should I continue doing this or are they right? Also how much as in appropriate tip?

My son and I were in paris last week and noticed a whole lot of cars honking their horns. We decided that not all honks were bad, some where to say "you go". But now that we are home... I wonder if someone could tell us the real story? Are all the honks saying "hey you, get out of the way, move!"

Thanks.

Right now my neighbors are playing music and having a noisy pool party. Should I grab my trunks and show up at their door, give them a call, or stay home and play more Yahoo! Answers?

I've been dating this guy, we're not boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but we spend a lot of time together, so it feels like we're dating. Last week he asked me out to dinner at a restauraunt. Nothing too extravagant or fancy, but it was nicer, and above fast food. When the bill came... he laid his half of the money down...and I didn't think to bring money with me, so he had to pay the whole thing. I felt bad, but.. I thought the guy or the person who asks is supposed to pay on a date. So I'm seeing him again tonight, but I'm going to feel akward giving him his money back, or should I just "forget".. it's like $35.

When we were children growing up our Uncle used to take us down to our grand-parents(no freeways all secondary roads) he would see a small hill coming up and he would speed up and it would tickle our tummies ,we'd laugh and tell him to do it again.Does anyone have fond memories when times were simpler?

We live in a society where people come from all parts of the world and they all walk on the left or the right of the hallway.

We in Canada were always taught to walk on the right side and it was litterally drilled into us with every fire drill and class change from elementary school on up.

Now at work I get all kinds of dirty looks when I am on the right and I bump into someone coming the other way.

when you run a company and this happens dozens if not hundreds of of times every single day don't you think you would address the point or is it really too minor.
I have never said anything to anyone about it but since i'm here i thought i'd ask what you all think

Until about 6 or 7 years ago, I always wore pantyhose with my skirt suits for work each day at the office. Needless to say, with me dressing that way for work each day, my hubby developed a pretty intense curiousity for my pantyhose. Right around the time that my wardrobe transitioning to skirt suits and going bare legged with skirts, I was wearing pantyhose for work only on occasion. One one of those occasions that I was wearing them, I just asked him if he was so curious about the hose, why doesnt he just try them. I then hiked up my skirt, eased out of my sheers, handed them to him, and told him to slip them on. Well long story short, he went absolutely ga ga over the way they felt, which I thought was kind of neat. Hes asked a few more times recently for me to let him wear them again, but I dont want things to get out of hand. At the same time, I don't want to deny it to him because of how much he liked it that one time. How can I achieve a balance here?

I am confused on this one. I ma major bottled water drinker. Some mooron in the county has decided because we are in what they call a "Sever Drought Emergency" that he has proposed and passed a county ordniance to limit the purchase on any bottled water used for human consumption with the exception of flouride added water (for babies).

Ok, so we can't water our lawns, wash our cars, take less baths, yada yada yada. We get it. But now you are telling us we can't purchase bottled water in mass quanuties? Umm, what?? I found this out when I went to Wal-Mart and attempted (yes attempted) to purchase 4 cases of bottled water. They told me there was a limit to two cases a week for county residents and out of county residents were not allowed to purchase water at all.

So after i took the two cases out of my cart, they had to call a 24 hour county hotline (yes our wonderful tax dollars at work) to verify my water purchase and to document it.

I've had some trouble at work these past few days. Most of the things I do are always accidents and mistakes; i would never disobey the orders and i know i need to be more careful, etc. (its a daycare type facility) the legal age to work there and take care of the kids is 18, however im not 18 yet and i told them i would be able to work at the office/front desk. i did that for a couple weeks or so (i started the beginning of July so this is my fourth week). My boss knows im better out there w/ the kids (bc sometimes i help them but most of the times im supposed to stay in the office). Last night I made a mistake on the card swiping machine etc and accidentally charged a customer the wrong amount. My boss saw that and freaked out and told me "OK no more office for you" i know she wasnt being sarcastic and i tihnk she was rather serious. and then she added "from now on i want you to stay w the kids... IF you work here that is" i dont want to get fired and i know they know the rules that

I work with a lot of younger women (I'm male) whom I can't help but notice. This one smells nice; that one has a nice shape; & SHE has a nice personality!
I'm never rude or act unprofessional, but I'm self conscious that I I find them attractive.
How should I act? I don't want to cause tension or offense. Give me some specific pointers, please. I'm not looking to develop any workplace romances; I'm simply asking if you would be aware of if a guy finds you attractive, & what would you suggest to help me not send out improper vibes.
Thanx.

If you were going somewhere and your child wanted to ask a friend to come along, who typically pays? I've always felt that if I invite another child along with us that it's my treat but a couple times lately friends of my children have called and invited them places and then their moms tell me "but we need you to pay for xxxxx's ticket". Now I'm always planning to send the money along for my kids and insisting on paying their way anyway but I just think it's odd for them to have their child call and invite my child with the expectation that if my child accepts that we will be coming up with money. What if I didn't have the money to pay my child's way and your child has already invited my child and my child has accepted? I guess that when I'm expected to shell out $$ to send my child somewhere I prefer to be asked privately instead of my child being involved - so if I have to say no then I'm not the "bad guy" in my child's eyes. Just curious what others think...
