I hosted a BBQ yesterday and I noticed a few people pulled my shower curtain back (humm?) and I heard my bathroom cabinets being opened. I had toliet paper and a hand towels insight. WTH! Am I the only one that thinks this is a little strange and invasive? Why do people so this??

NO my ear wasn't up to the door--ewww....lol! My cabinets make a noise when you open them as does my shower curtain from the metel holders.

No, I would never go through someone's bathroom cabinets.

What your guests did was incredibly rude. They would never be invited back to my home. Did you notice if any items were missing?

It is very strange and invasive. I would be very angry. They have no right to do that. They are not friends of yours; they are nosey idiots.

People do this because their mommies and daddies never taught them manners, morals, and ethics.

I would never open anyones bathroom cabinets. I can't imagine pulling back the shower curtain either. What in the world did they think you had hidden behind the shower curtain? LOL

I have heard of people doing this. I was lucky enough to have a hall bathroom for guests and I kept nothing in there except extra toilet paper, soap and towels. So no matter who snooped they were not going to find anything of interest.

I wouldn't do that. What if you did and then put something back into the cabinet and the whole cabinet fell. Anyways that is invading people's privacy which is totally ignorant but some people are just nosy enough to actually stick their heads in your bathroom cabinets. But maybe they saw that you had some nice toothpaste or something they wanted and then they checked out the brand and whatever. Who knows...

It is absolutely wrong to go thru other people's personal property when invited over for any occasion. People are just nosey and curious. Bathroom's do tell alot about people and how they live. Since this will probably never change, be mindful of what you may have in the bathroom and remove some items if they may be too personal. : )

It helps me analyze people a little better. It's something about seeing the "real them". I agree with you, but, I am very curious ( My major is Communications, I want to be a journalist) I can't help it. I also ask too many questions. But, I have to admit, I only do it on certain occasions, not all the time.

I don't do it. Especially after that Southwest 'Wanna get away?' commercial when the girl was snooping in her boyfriend's cabinet, and when she put some tube back on the shelf, the whole thing collapsed. Yeah, that should be enough to scare someone straight!

i have never gone through anyones medicine cabinet or shower. I think that is absolutely ignorant! I do not know why someone would want to know what medications you take or what shampoo you use, etc. Maybe they want to see if you are more screwed up then them!

I have peeked into a cabinet...but I try to be quiet about it...and I only usually peek into one. Why? Just nosey I guess. I don't always do it...only if I think it's a really nice house....I'm not interested in medicine cabinets, i usually go for the linen cabinets....

I have done it several times but only to the people that I want to get to know better. I can tell what kind of a person this is.

In the washroom you are by yourself and your animal instincts are on the loose. And if you have noticed ... animals always check out their surroundings :)

BTW you had your ear to the door ? What ?? Or did they make so much noise in the washroom :)
