You have to adress some of the factors involved in a hangover.
I've used lots of fluids, vitamin C (OJ), stimulants (coffee with 2 spoons of sugar), salt (egg&bacon sandwich).
Problem with NSAIDS (Naproxen, ibuprofen, etc.) they and alcohol BOTH have a detrimental affect on the GI tract lining. So taking those NSAIDs can badly affect your guts.
BUT. Eventually, you still have 1 problem. You STILL have alcohol poisoning. You still have alcohol throughout your body that has to be broken down & flushed out.
It does take time to get the alcohol out of your body.
NOTE : If you have a hangover the next morning, there a significant chance that you are STILL to drunk to drive - don't risk it.

Drink lots of water; it may sound icky now, but it will definitely help you to feel better.
If you really need to be rid of the hangover quickly, have a single alcoholic drink (it's not enough to get you drunk, but adding a little additional alcohol to your system will make you feel better). By the time your body has finished processing that, you should be over your hangover (and 1 drink shouldn't be enough to give you another hangover). This remedy is where the saying, "The hair of the dog that bit you" came from.

I had such a brutal hangover from getting high out of my mind and drinking till I couldn't walk or talk properly (apparantly i also spent a good load of time being naked in front of my friends).
Solutions:
-Drink lots of GATORADE, because the electrolytes really help, then WATER.
-EAT something. Fruits and yogurt go down easy, but you'll want to eat something with a bit more solidity and nutrients to absorb the alcohol.
-Do a bit of EXCERCISE, like on a stationary bike. Running will make you puke, but any way to sweat out toxins will make you feel loads better.
-SLEEP. Get a few solid hours of sleep.
-THINK about how you will never again drink/smoke so much in one night, and be glad nothing really terrible happened.
Good luck!

Yes. Be more prudent about how much ETOH you consume. I have had a few hangovers in my life, and what helped me the most is eating a little ice cream. I also drink a V8 before the ice It is excellent nourishment, and the coldness seems to calm my queasy stomach.

Climb into a warm bubble bath and drink a diet coke while you are relaxing. Then go lay down and try to get an hour or so of sleep. When you wake up you will feel great.

THE CURE - McDonalds french fries and a coke. Also stop binge drinking and drink a glass of water between each alcoholic drink.

water, Bayer aspirin, salty things like chicken soup or tomato juice to replace the electrolyes lost by the alcohols diuretic effect, a shower and quiet rest of the day in a darkened room.

Eat something salty like pretzels. Also, try drinking a little Coke or 7-Up. That always helps me. If you think your stomach can take it, try some Ibuprofen, but eat something before you do. Finally, sleep.

Besides the advice to have less alcohol, the best thing it's lots of water. Drink it, take a shower in it, gargle with it, take a bath with it. It might be low tech, but it always got the job done for me.
