My son and I were in paris last week and noticed a whole lot of cars honking their horns. We decided that not all honks were bad, some where to say "you go". But now that we are home... I wonder if someone could tell us the real story? Are all the honks saying "hey you, get out of the way, move!"

Thanks.

I can't imagine the French being polite or patient.
I'm gonna say they wanted you to scram out of their way.

Some may be, but nothing to worry about. I found when I visited Paris that I was relieved to cross a road without getting run over. Running helped.

The French can't drive! It's the same in Quebec, Canada!
