I was at the movie theatre and I saw a mistake in a movie i saw recently, (Transformers) so i stood up to tell my fellow moviegoers of this mistake before i forgot about it. But amazingly, everyone started telling me to sit down and be quiet, one person even through a peice of popcorn at me!

Dont these people know proper theatre ediquette, you cant just yell at people if theyre trying to inform you about a films mistakes. I called security but i was just appauled when they just chuckled and left like i was joking.

That is why i am never going back to that theatre again!

I'm sure moviegoers at that theatre are glad you don't plan to go back. As far as manners, it would be YOU that is lacking in that department.

When people get out for a fun night and pay more than small pocket change to go to a movie, do you really think they want it ruined? You are spoiling it for them. Every film has it's mistakes, so I have to assume this was the first one you have been able to see.

That's probably a good thing because we go to the show to get into the film and, yes, we know it's fiction. (Made up, not real, of course there are mistakes!.) I'd recommend you keep your mouth shut next time.

Sorry, you are out of order here, you should have just sat down and kept quiet.Try and respect other people who are trying to watch the film. They do not want to see some jerk standing up shouting while the film is being screened.Probably the other movie goers are glad to hear that you will not be going back to that theatre.Get a life,it is only fiction and a poor film anyway.

First of all, I think you were rude at this time. People pay for a movie they do not pay to listen to another fellow moivegoers opinions or comments. And standing up in a theater while people are watching a movie, very, very, bad manners.

I think you were in the wrong to interrupt the movie. I'm not justifying the actions of your fellow movie-goers, but I wouldn't appreciate someone standing up in front of me and trying to point out mistakes.

First of all, you were the one being rude...it was rude to interrupt the movie w/your observation...that would be something to do at home or with your friends. Secondly there are less manners because they are not being taught at home or in schools like they used to be. Children learn from their parents & teachers first....

You are kidding...right? You stood up in the theater to tell everyone else about a MISTAKE? Are you insane?
