Why is it almost impossible to flick away a sticky boogie from your finger?

Wiping it under the table or on the wall next to the urinal seem to be the only options.

Ok to answer your question it is impossible due to the moisture level. The way to correct this as others have said is to use your preferred method of moisture removal.

Your best option however would be as others have suggested-a tissue, toilet tissue (after all you were near the urinal) or a napkin/hanky.

Bogie flicking is an art form. First it should be gently rolled between Index finger and thumb until the gooey snot has transferred from the soon to be projectile and onto the lower part of the tip of the thumb, then leaving a very small gap between the index fingernail and the meat of the thumb pop the now globular goodie onto the upper aspect of the index fingernail.
Pressing the into the thumb ( without squashing the bogie )
with the tip of the fingernail Flick in the intended direction with Gusto.

Well, since noone else seems to actually be answering your question as to why ...

The seeming stickiness of your nose goblins is not because they contain an adhesive, but rather because their viscousity ("gooiness") tends to maximize surface tension.

The material which makes up sinus slime behaves as a plastic (meaning it can be shaped while soft and then hardened) which means that in adequate quantities it might be an adequate sculpting material. The friction ridges on your fingers provide an ideal surface to which the the still-moist nostril nugget can form itself to maximize the effects of surface tension.

Once you have wiped the gooey goodness onto a porous surface, it molds itself into the tiniest pores or opening in that surface, forming a microscopic mechanical interlock, that will make it quite difficult to remove once it has hardened.

if u think flicking ur finger is the best choice u should wait for sometime so that it drys and becomes less sticky then u flick but if u cant wait then wiping it undr a table or on the wall is a fair priority

Nose gold itself is not sticky, however if snot is in abundance during picking season it often attaches itself so that it will be picked also.
When the booger and snot are discarded, the snot (if properly pollinated) will come to rest in some loose soil and (after a 10-14 germination cycle) sprout.

its like blu tack. it won't leave. ever. just play with it for a bit then when you get bored wipe it on the person next to you (preferably sister or brother or the sofa) and then get up and wash your hands. happy nose picking. =D

thats funny! i once knew this one person who picked there nose and had a big boogie and couldnt hide it any where so they put it back inside there nose untill they had a chance of putting it somewhere
but i usually just hid it some where where ever im at
