Are you using "nosepicking" as a verb or a noun?

1)Excuse yourself. 2) Get up from the table. 3) Go to the restroom. 4) Get some tissue, pick your boogers/blow your nose. 5) Check yourself in the mirror to make sure nothing is hanging off your nose. 6) Wash & dry your hands. 7) Proceed back to the dinner table to finish your meal.

If you feel the need, repeat the above steps as many times as necessary.

Well, Nolan
this is a very touchy subject
it IS exceptable in certain regions of West Viginia and in some parts of Arkansas AND if you are on a date with your cousin !! Almost any other situation may be seen as somewhat overt and over-the-edge !!!

Nosepicking should be done in a bathroom setting not at a dinner table. I don't care who you are with, unless you are alone it is not acceptable. How gross!

as a mom, i have dealt with this in my own home at my own dinner table.... i find it not only rude but disgusting behavior... it only takes a moment to get up and go to another room if you really must blow your nose/pick it..... the ONLY exception to this rule is if someone is so sick and conjested that they cannot physically help it... otherwise it is just plain bad manners. now if you happen to sneeze unexpectedly, which does happen than just wipe discreetly and say excuse me... and bless you to the sneezer.....

It is improper to prepare your own dinner when honeybunchkins has prepared dinner for you.

yes, that's nasty as hell. just excuse yourself, go to the bathroom and have a good time doing that when your alone. there's no faster way of turning someone off than picking your nose in front of them

Why would you snack on your cranial discharge when you can stuff your face with brownies?

Why would you even waste people's time asking this question?
