Go to a dinner party and take home a plate of food? Especially if you didn't bring anything? I thought I was gonna have left overs yesterday, but nooo my company took most of it.

My neighbors that live behind me set off about four hours of fireworks last night. My car and driveway have all kinds of ash and debris all over them. My yard is covered with wrappers and bottle rocket stems. I'm thinking I'm gonna sweep it all up and dump it in their pool. Would this be overreacting? Also, I want to send them a bill to get my car washed.

I get gifts of like $20 or $40 from my old neighbors in jersey. They even bought me a cake last summer when it was my 18th bday. I was floored and I thanked them VERY much. I tahnked them over and over and over and over again (literally) because I never like to send thank you cards. I guess I'm just lazy...but I don't want to seem like a spoiled brat!

I really do thank them A LOT when they do things like this for me, but I mean a thank you card for $20 when I can make that much in 2 hours of hard work? I'm thankful but...I'm confused?
I'm even going as far as to have my mom suggest to them this year that while I'm there (for my 19th), that I'd prefer it if they didn't do anything for me (lies!) because I don't want to seem spoiled and I HATE thank you cards.

Opinions on my "situation?"

I am doing an independant project where I am collecting statistics on behavor on a race and gender scale. If a total stranger walked up to you on the street, and asked you to spit in his/her face, would you do so? What if they offered money?

There are just sooo many people I've seen who exaggerate. Now I don't intend any racism but this seems to be most common among Westerners. They either over-criticize something or overly praise it. There's no in between. There are also people who exaggerate how much or how little there is of something. For example: Some people say a show runs for 3 hours though actually it is only 30 minutes. Some people might say an action movie is just action scenes with no plot despite the fact that if they got a watch and carefully analysed how much plot and dialogue there is there is really very little action at all. Anyone else hate it when people exaggerate?

When I got this computer I thought I'd get into some chat rooms not knowing what I was gonna read. Most I entered, I'd say, had kids 13 to 20 by the maturity of their writing. To me It sounded like a meat market...human meat. These poor lil' girls hadn't a clue what could befall them for the sexual invitations they were giving. I saw a program about sexual predators on the internet & so many girls were being slaughtered, not just killed, through this. Many chat rooms, even the ones I thought were a mature topic, were the same. I told my co-worker that I was looking forward to the company I was gonna have, since I lived alone at the time, through these chat rooms. She said, "Oh didn't you know, they're all like that"? How many of you are with me on keeping this site interesting and helpful and report people talking about how long (or not) their penises are!!

They do have emotions,centiments,love and everything that we have,but they have no good response from our side.I have seen them facing so much of barriers from the society,they were getting treated in a very worst manner.Their status must be changed,they should get equal priority like others.what we must do for that?

My boyfriend and I are visiting some relatives of his. They are very nice people and I have meet them before. They have invited us to stay at their home for a week at the end of the summer. They live in a very touristy area and have a beautiful and large (accompidating to guests) home.

However, growing up, I never stayed at people's homes for more than a night. I never had family out of state, so there was no need to.

Now, I know that when you stay at someone's house, you should respect their property. Clean up after yourself, treat their home how you would want your treated, be polite and don't be demanding. Also, again, be super clean.

However, I still feel uncomfortable staying w/ them. However, my boyfriend and I don't have extra money to spend on a hotel. Also, my boyfriend would be offended if I didn't want to stay at his relatives house. His relatives would be insulted that I didn't want to. They would know it was me over him, b/c he's stayed w/

i was running at a local track when i was walking back along the path to leave the track i heard something in the woods and when i looked there was this girl peeing on a tree a was shocked for a sec and then sorta walked away faster.my question is i see her every day when i go running and i dont now what i should do.and has this ever happened to anyone before.

you hear or see people using "incorrect" grammar? I have a hard time trying to control myself from correcting them all the time, but somehow I find a way to not say anything. But it really makes my skin crawl!

like to destroy people's reputation? I knew of this lonely lady who liked to get co-workers, parishoners, and general people that she meets into trouble. She said she likes to find everything about everyone and then slander and gossip about them ruining their reputation. And then she would twist stories, and forget what she would say.
What would be her motivation to do this?
Is she mental, from a bad background or what?
