I get soooo angry when I'm driving sometimes!
People seem to be in such a hurry all the dang time! I don't lose my temper over one minor action....It's the cumulation of them that gets me hot. But, I'm good and only give someone the bird if they really disearve it :)

I'm not sure that we've all changed that much over the centuries - there are just more of us to deal with!

I mean, there were duels and brawls long before there were cell phones and freeways.

On the other hand, many of us were raised to be 'me first' people, and going to church... well, some people go, but a whole lot of people don't.

Throw in a few people that would have been executed a century ago (or at least a century and 1/2), and you have a real wild mix of an awful lot of people.

I'm more surprised that things generally work so well.

Because there are too many morons out there with their heads up their asses who have no idea how to drive. Many of them don't have any common sense anyway, and it gets even worse when they get behind the wheel.

If you don't want people getting angry at you when you drive, then LEARN HOW!! Use turn signals, notice the flow of traffic, don't tailgate, don't ride your brakes for no damn reason, don't go into the fast lane to pass someone else when you're going 5-10 miles an hour less than the fast lane traffic is going, put your cellphone on speaker, change your driving habits for weather conditions, pay attention to road signs that tell you when construction's coming so that you don't wait until the last minute to merge, let someone in when they have to merge, don't slow down to 15 under just because there's a cop in the area, etc. Stop blaming the "road rage," which is a stupid term anyway, on the people who get angry. Blame it on the people who make them angry - old people who don't seem to know where the gas pedal is, soccer moms who are total idiots, truck drivers who cut into other lanes for no reason, people going 20 mph faster or slower than the rest of traffic.

I have road rage...and at times..it can get really bad. I'll admit I'm not a perfect driver...no one is. But its the people that pull out in front of you, those who don't signal until the last possible second...or those who have their turn signal on for at least a mile(well seems like a mile) ahead of when they are going to turn. And extremely slow drivers. Going 35 in a 55 just doesn't cut it..unless you are a tractor or other farm machinery. Or those who ride your butt when you're already going how fast....

It all starts with a bad day. Some mofo is already stressed and pissed about something else and gets behind the wheel .Someone cuts him off purposely or accidental now the mofo has intent and reason to take his anger out on whomever. Hey you can have the road I just wanna get to where I need to be safely.People need to recognize that cars can be extremely dangerous fast or slow. Just RELAX!!

It is because everyone is stressed. We stress over our jobs, money, weight, kids, houses, cars, and trying to look successful even if we are not really. The problem comes in that we are constantly being pushed by everyone. The only time you feel any control is when you are piloted a big vehicle. Then sometimes it all snaps. Your boss yelled, your kids are crying, stuck in traffic, your husband is furious you didn't stop at the store, etc. That's it.

Because they are convinced that they are perfect drivers themselves.
It always amazes me how many people shout and rant and yet they themselves make mistakes on the road.

It's probably because people are always in a rush and they want others to drive faster or better.
