Absolutely, they should reimburse you!! They should also buy you a fresh lot of bed sheets, and provide funds to go towards the counselling that you are probably going to need after finding out they had sex on your bed. You should perhaps also consider how much focus they were giving to your children as you said "they were watching the kids". I'd suggest they were slightly distracted. Errrr... I really feel for you, this is horrible!!!

Well that's a little unfair. The parents can't help that their kids are obese the parents must be obese too. Maybe the kids should try to change their eating habits and the parents should help. It shouldn't be fined because underweight kids aren't fed. Also most underweight teens or kids [like me] have a fast metabolism which isn't bad at all.

Were they there for the evening or over-night? if just for the evening, they had no business in your bed and should reimburse you. If they were staying overnight, they should still not have been in your bed but the one you provided for them so reimbursement is a bit more tricky. Whether you pursue this depends on how much you need them to babysit for you!

Uh Maria is it normal for parents to screw around in their kids' bed? Well I sure hope not. Anyway as for the question I'd say that you should have locked your room and left your parents to do it on the couch or the guest room or something.

If anyone broke anything in my home they would own up.
The cost of repairs should be paid for by the people who broke the bed. If they're your parents it should be simple to tell them they will get a bill for the damages.

Questions for you : How do you know that they were
having sex?
Did your children see / hear them?
Don't assume things...
Did they say anything about the broken bed?
If not, then you have another problem...snicky parents...
Ask them if they had any problems with the bed...
They might tell you thei version....Just bear it....Do listen..

Nope. In fact you could be sued. If you leave a couple at home, you have got a moral obligation to leave a usable bed and not a fragile ancient wreck that you can later blame their weight on.... if your parents didn't have sex, you wouldn't be here... so you can hardly complain about that, can you?

I agree with you 200%.
Personally, i feel that it would be wrong to have sex at someone's home while babysitting, parents or not.
