I thought it was where if I admired them or I liked what they did. If a guy imitates a girl or vice versa, or when I used to imitate my mom who I admired very much. Just to get others opinions. A guy friend, not a boyfriend, has kind of imitated me.

I've left things behind a couple of times; a friend does it far too often, and now we're wondering if there's anything approximating tipping guidelines for when you get it back.

(Which, thankfully, we always have. Yay cabbies!)

The fare for an "average" trip? The fare for said average trip, both ways? $10? $20?

I work in a small office, primarily processing web orders. My boss is a cool guy, but double checks EVERYTHING...I also just started about 3 weeks ago. No attendance issues so far, but I want to leave about 2 hours early. Any suggestions?

There are no bad answers. These are people's opinions.
Just because you may not be in agreement it doesn't make it a bad answer.

I really don't feel like answering a question that contains misspelling.

Instead of doing my taxes myself, for my first time I went to an H&R Block office. I was truly grateful for the assistance the tax preparer gave me. She was extremely helpful, and even held the door open for me as I left the office. All that friendliness, and I didn't tip her. My barber isn't even that nice and I tip him!

I'm sick of people being so disgusting, rude, tacky, and vulgar in every respect. I 'm a Southern girl and what happen to the young ladies who treat themselves with respect and dignity AND what about the young men who are supposed to be Gentlemen? I wish other young people of different geographic location would take note and stop acting like idiots!

I would like for someone to tell me what is racial about nappy headed. I am white as snow and I am nappy headed so does that mean I should raise hell because someone said that? Sorry but I would laugh if somebody called me that.

So they have a bad mess on their driveway. The garbage, kids bikes, strollers, bins, toys, rakes, etc takes up about 50%.
They have a minivan that doesn't work sitting in the middle to lower portion, and then they INSIST on parking their car at the END (tip) with the bumper in the roadway. We're on a court and I have to back into my driveway or drive the wrong way on the court to get into my driveway without interuption from his vehicle.
The other day he parked a cube van from work diagonally, partially on his lawn, partially on my driveway. I could still get in, by backing in only, but BARELY. (about 3 inches to spare)
We had a wind storm two days ago and their garbage can is now laying on my driveway. And toys in my front lawn on the grass (that I don't want to walk on due to moisture).
And they chat with the neighbours on the other side in the summer on our lawn regardless. LONG STORY SHORT, we've asked them to stop. They're so rude, they ignore us over and over.

SUGGESTIONS?

I'm a grad student, living with my mom and commuting to college. Theres a man who lives with his wife /children in my building. I was always friendly with him for 10 plus years. Then about a year and half ago he started acting weird. He does photography as a hobby,, he told me one day that he'll take pics of my artwork and was insistent on it- i was taken aback.. he gave me his card told me to check his web site and email him-- I did and it was weird, not good-kinda scared me. I saw him again he started talking to me about his work. I told him he should go to some art agencies and try to get work, he looked upset that i said that. i told him he should try, he looked upset that i said that.. My Mom kept telling me he keeps asking for you when i see him. Ever since i have been leaving when i know hes gone and i come back home when hes gone. I saw him walking towards my direction the other day. my gutt told me "CROSS THE STREET",, i did whats wrong with me and how can i deal with him?

I'm not chinese...

The people I meet sometimes honestly think I'm chinese but not in a offensive way. What do I say without being so mean (which I usually am)? Like if I'm talking to older people?

We have been going out about 3 months, and am not sure if it is appropriate for me to attend the funeral or wake. I want to offer my support, but also don't want to put pressure on him. Any suggestions?

i get this A LOT, and i've never found a "proper" or 'miss-manners-friendly" response. i usually respond with an "umm.... thanks?" , which usually just leads to an akward silence, or i just start explaining how not all (or most for that matter) mexicans are short and tan, which i think makes me sound a little too condescending.

Now, I'm not for insulting people AT ALL, but it seems these days you can't say ANYTHING without p!ssing someone off.
People are so afraid of offending someone, that they sometimes don't speak up when something DESPERATELY needs to be said. That being said, I think that what Don Imus said was asinine in the extreme and he deserved to be fired. I think the Rutgers basketball team should get to kick his a**.

Is it better to tip one large tip at the end of the stay? Because it seems inefficient and awkward to be tipping for each and every service.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the hotel, and my mother and I are staying here for 4 days for the event.
Thanks!

I'm going to an orientation, and it says as far as shoes goes, it says it can be casual or professional shoes. Would white sneakers be considered business casual?

today in my english class my teacher said oprah is worth $1 billion. and her giving away one million is just .01% of her money. thats rediculous. we were deciding on whether people were communist or socialist. i am a socialist.

i think that rich people earn there money, yes, dont get me wrong. but who need that much money. working class people bust their balls too. and we only get paid minimum wage. what you get more money cause your beautiful. thats a great lesson to teach to the world, what you need that much money to spend on a huge house youll only use MAYBE 1/3 of. when your not home most the time cause your too busy making more money? oprah whinfrey is wonderful. she knows how it felt to be poor and she understands how hard it is! there for she is a good citizen. giving away cars and home apliances to people who work 45+ hours a week with 2+ kids. and what. you only have that money to spend on your self. i know you should keep what you earn but seriously.
what do you think?
