We have been going out about 3 months, and am not sure if it is appropriate for me to attend the funeral or wake. I want to offer my support, but also don't want to put pressure on him. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should go to the wake with your parents (if you're young) and attend the funeral with him. He has to greet people at the wake so it might be clumsy for you to be there the whole time.

talk to him. find out what he would prefer. I dont know if the whole "gay" thing is an issue with any parts of the family, but, a grandmother's funeral is not the place to be making any statements or causing any additional pain.
I'd abide with whatever your bf thinks.

Technically, unless you knew his grandmother, you should expect not to go. If he asks you to, that's a different matter, but at 3 months, no one expects to see you there. You wouldn't be out of line to ask him in a neutral way, but placing the expectation of going into your question is intrusive.

i think u should go cuz u can show yoUr boyfriend that u can be by his side in the good times and also in the bad times. And don't worry about if he is gonna feel pressure nah that's not that's not gonna happen he well feel better if ur by his side ..... i hope it help u
