So they have a bad mess on their driveway. The garbage, kids bikes, strollers, bins, toys, rakes, etc takes up about 50%.
They have a minivan that doesn't work sitting in the middle to lower portion, and then they INSIST on parking their car at the END (tip) with the bumper in the roadway. We're on a court and I have to back into my driveway or drive the wrong way on the court to get into my driveway without interuption from his vehicle.
The other day he parked a cube van from work diagonally, partially on his lawn, partially on my driveway. I could still get in, by backing in only, but BARELY. (about 3 inches to spare)
We had a wind storm two days ago and their garbage can is now laying on my driveway. And toys in my front lawn on the grass (that I don't want to walk on due to moisture).
And they chat with the neighbours on the other side in the summer on our lawn regardless. LONG STORY SHORT, we've asked them to stop. They're so rude, they ignore us over and over.
SUGGESTIONS?

1. Ask them nicely to please clean up their act.
2. If no response, or if they are rude, take pictures of the whole mess for a week.
3. File report & take pictures to the police dept to get action.
4. Believe me, you dont need neighbors like that, so don't worry about them not liking you. No great loss!
5. Move to another home as a last resort.
Good luck!

i agree with the first girl to an extent. Neighbors are the closest people you have in case of an emergency, But you said you live in a court right? Yeah that means there are plenty more neighbors for emergency not to mention if the person I despise most in this world lived next to me I would still help in an emergency. There is no reason you should have to put up with that you pay mortgage/ rent for a reason and if they start paying it for you, they can do what ever they like until then be a ***** and lay down the law. Good Luck!

This dilemma stinks - and I know you should be nice to your neighbors and all - it is easier for all involved. Since you have tried to talk to them - I would look for different stradegies - do you have a homeowners association? If so, they could send a letter enforcing the rules. If not, you might want to think about calling the county and seeing if there is any type of law about broke down vehicles on property, etc. I would start to be a "witch" myself - I would pitch their toys, junk whatever on their property - If they do come on your lawn, as polite as possible - ask them to get off - if they keep it up, call the police. Can you move?

I find land mines work well.
However, the suggestions about throwing things out is good, however, I would just put their crap all over their driveway so that they can't get around and have to move it to move their cars.
For instance, people were not picking up after their dog had gone on my lawn. So instead of me picking it up, I just got the shovel out and moved it to the middle of the sidewalk. That way next time they are out walking their dog, hopefully at night, they can step in it and get it all over their shoes.
It only took two days of doing this and now I don't have that problem anymore.

You have proof out of the kid's mouth that she hit your car. Now you go to the parents with the estimate. Get your car repaired & give them the bill to pay. BUT, When this happened to your car you should have called the police to make out a report. That is good documentation. You have proof. Next time you visit your mother park in the street. Don't park in her driveway. It is your mom's problem, not yours. IF she asks for your help, fine. But if she doesn't ask, leave her alone. It is really none of your business. It is not your house.

Dont be nice about it, say it in a stern manner, for them to remove their crap or else you will put it the the garbage and they will never see it again. Eg is they dump toys and other crap on your lawn trow it in your garbage or take it someplace else and dump it and they will get the hint, if they say why did you throw out my kids toys and stuff, just say, someone must have stolen it, since you leave your S**t lying around, don't blame me.
Next time they are on your lawn talking to the neighbours go out and say for them to get off your property or you will call the police, you are trespassing, give them hell. don't be quiet like a mouse otherwise you give them power to walk all over you. I hope It all woks out.

Donate the toys to charity.
Call the Salvation Army and "donate their car."
If you rent, call the landlord. If you own, take them to court and have them evicted.
Sounds like they suck as neighbors. Just some ideas for you to get back at them. I am sure that they will get the hint when you call the Salvation Army and the car goes Bu BUY......
Paybacks is a *****.
--Oh yeah, find out a family members name that doesn't live with them and tell the Salvation Army that you are that person...It works, trust me.
If they say anything after it happens, at least you can say that they can take the value of the car as a tax deduction....
Suckers...and they sound like they are a**holes....

Call the Mayor- or Town Supervisor- & tell them you know of someone who's commiting serious code violations. If they seem reluctant to do anything about it- suggest you're going to draw up and pass around a petition citing negligence of duty by local public officials... THAT should speed them along in getting something done... Good luck.

They may need to know what its like to have neighbors as rude as they are. Get creative and have fun with it. Obviously being mature about the situation didn't work so now it's time to play! Throw eggs, T/P their house when their gone....dump your trash out on their lawn in the middle of the night....you have to act supprised about it in the morning though and continue being nice to them.

park your car in his spot...pick up all the toys in your yard and put them inside in a trash can ...do this for a week..at the end of the week..ask if they want to continue..or do they want to respect your property..by picking their crap up and keeping their car outta yours ..or is it now a free for all and you will do the same with theirs..and did you mention by the way that you are hosting a wrestling match on their front lawn and do they have any lawn chairs you can borrow..
