Because so many people these days have no consideration for others' feelings, and don't give a damn about what anyone else thinks.

People are rude when they feel inconvenienced or disregarded or they just don't like someone. I think most people now feel that life is a big race and if you have to stop to help the old lady cross the street you're going to fall behind. There's also the attitude that this is my life and you can't tell me what to do and I'll make you pay if you get in my way. I guess all this equals rude behavior.

I think some people are rude nowadays since they have misunderstood themselves from poor upbringing at home or education at school/college. Maybe they've watched too many episodes of soap opera programs on television or from the films. They deserve pity or re-education from any private or government agency.

the idea of instant gratification and lack or patience and or tolerance goes against the kindness of being polite .
i just lay down to ignorance as is the case with most acts of unright thinking and action. Help the rude to see through your kind example and good heart .those that act out of reward and punishment instead of love are a sorry lot indeed!

2. Timothy 3:1-5
There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power.
