If I understand the explanation of Revelation only after every soul that lived has been converted can God begin judging and condemning, and everybody waits in limbo ore the grave until then.

I just inquired about how christians can be 100 % sure that they're religion is real, when there are so many other religions out there that believe the exact same thing. I got some decent answers, but then i got answers like "If you know Jesus you will know the truth" and "god is the one and only" etc. Well those kinds of respnses are exactly what im talking about. How do you know that, when there are islamic people who 'know' that they;re right too.

I know, I've just wasted my time asking another dumb question ;-)

It just seems there are a few people who feel the need to tell you how you are wasting your time, not realizing that they themselves are wasting their own time telling you something you didn't really need to hear, because it isn't going to make a bit of difference to you anyway.

As an atheist, it's easy for me to recognize irrational arguments when they come from theists. . .

I read "What caused the Big Bang?" and I think "False dilemma, appeal to ignorance."

I get a message "Open your heart to God and you will know he is real" and I think "Begging the question, appeal to emotion."

My question is, what are some things atheists often say that you recognize as obviously fallacious?

I can't help but see similarities between Hitler and God. Lets think about this for a second. Hitler gave benefits to those who followed him without question. God gives benefits to those who believe in him without question. Hitler punished those of different religions besides christianity. God sends non-believers to hell (supposedly). God seems a little bit selfish to me? Maybe god should change his ways. People who don't believe aren't bad people. Niether were the jews, but oh wait, hitler tried to kill them all. Hmm

I just got off the phone with my cell phone company. I was disputing a charge on the bill. My phone broke. I sent phone off for repairs and they sent me back a brand new phone, but charged me for it. I didn't ask for a new phone. I would rather have gotten my old back with all my ringtones and pictures on it. but they sent me a new one (empty) and had the nerve to charged me for it. The white lady basically refused to adjust it. I hung up on her called right back and got a black dude. he had no problem adjusting. Why is that? why was the white lady acting like if she adjusted the bill the money was coming out of her pocket?

Not all white reps. are bad. But it seems like the bad ones are always white? (and yes, I can tell when I am talking to a black or white person on the phone)

Why is it that some christian people (i'm not saying all) are so hell bent on getting EVERYONE to believe that the bible and all that is 100% real. What makes it more real than any other religion. Every other religion believes that they are also 100% real and every other religion believs that they also have proof of it being real. So whats the deal. They can't all be real? So how is everyone sooo sure.
