I would never set out to offend anyone but i am all for a little leg pulling and sarcastic banter. It seems though as soon as you make the slightest referance towards certain sections then you're remarks are pulled.
I am British (English ) but love to have a sly pop at others whom i really do admire in many ways ................e.g.
The porridge gobbling Scots
The lard **** yanks
The surrender monkey frogs
The sausage eating crowts................................
and so on. None of these people i assure you , have i anything but respect for, except maybe the French, so please lets not all be petty and take offence to what is in actual fact mild ribbing. For those of you who are weak minded and thin skinned, all of you fatties, skinnies, gingers, mincers, students, phlosophers, illegal immigrants, anyone of any radical faith and dole scroungers. well tough, you can keep being upset over nothing and i will in all probability continue to have my letters erased

...........yeah I know about the one where it say`s do not forsake our assemblies together. I think the people who condemm people who "can`t" make it (because of illness and other reasons) are the leaders who are afraid to lose the money and offerings received. I personally think church attendence is for the weak and untrained in the faith. I go personally to see my brethern. Sometimes I even get a good word from the pastor.

religious believers are always saying: "That's blaspheme".
but they can't produce any evidence or proof of their religious beliefs.

True blaspheme IS religious beliefs towards Universal Truth and Spirituality.

I can prove my Relationship with Our Creator.
1. There is Our Creator
2, There is me

100% proof

oh, what's that...all the religious believers crying? or just gnashing their teeth?

Here are three teachings of Jesus, quoted from the New International Version of the Bible:

1. In Matthew 5:39, Jesus says:
"do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."

2. In Matthew 5:28-30, Jesus says:
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."

3. In Mark 10:17-22, when a rich man asks what he must do in order to go to heaven, Jesus tells him:
"sell everything you have and give to the poor."

But most Christians don't follow any of these teachings?
Why not?

They've killed people right? And for anyone who belives in a religon that has "thou must not kill" do you think they'll go to hell?

Honestly just curious, or do you think they will be saved because tecnically their following someone else's orders

But you've got to admit, the war has killed alot of natives over there.

Ofcourse there are the bad soldiers, just yesterday I read a story about one who raped a muslim girl and killed her whole family. There's no doubt where hes going (if I belived in hell)

But yea, what are your opinions?Do you think god would support war? With all those deaths or do you think he'd feel like its not our place to punish people but his

I know this question has probably been asked a zillion times before, and that I need a good kick back into reality!

But.... imagine for a second.....if there is 'a one' for each of us, is that 'one' limited exclusively to the country to which you are born/where you go in life? Or could they live anywhere in the world and it's just pure chance that you get together?

There are people who have a 'feeling' they should be somewhere else - is that their 'one' screaming out to them "come find me, your taking so flamin' long !"?

People get married to the ones they fall deeply in love with and want to spend the rest of their lives with - have they been lucky and found 'the one'?

The Bible was written to control the uneducated peasants, but how can today's educated citizens be expected to swallow such shallow writing by barely literate historians?

Yea, I'm just really curious. I'm kind of new to the whole gay community and some things I just don't get. I mean I know in straight world, rarely do guys and girls become friends after they hooked up...unless it's just for that. Note: I'm not saying that it's impossible for straight guys and girls to not be friends ever. However, I just notice, and no I do not have valid facts, just my own observation that most of the time the people who you are friends with now either hooked up with you, wanted to hook up with you or dated and it just did not work out. Why is that you suppose?

I know many folks who say that the state sanctioned death of prisoners is wrong, but at the same time support state sanctioned killing of babies. How can these two positions be reconciled? I'm not going to argue with you. I want to hear what you have to say on this topic.

Mine is 'Am I Going Insane' by Black Sabbath

Am I Going InsaneEverybody’s looking at me, feeling paranoid inside
When I step outside I feel free, think I’ll find a place to hide
Tell me people, am I going insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane?

Every day I sit and wonder how my life it used to be
Now I feel like going under, now my life is hard to see
So tell me people, am I going insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane?

So I’m telling all you people, listen while I sing again
If I don’t sound very cheerful, I think that I’m a schizophren
So tell me people, am I going insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane?
Am I Going Insane

And are we today still peasants despite our education, since we still allow the religious establishment to scare us into listening to the clergy. (Isn't the biggest joke of all, that the clergy claim the Bible was written or inspired by God, so that they can fasten their hold on our lives.???)

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

Well, WHY???

I despise the idea of a man being the "head" of me. I was born alone, and likely, I will die alone. Not to get too vitriolic here, but I have been hustling (honestly) since I was 16 years old to make a living for myself and do for me. I have been working since that age, and I'm in a good place in life. I don't need a man to tell me how to manage my affairs and run my business, or calculate what my next move should be. I am quite adept, proficient and more than competent. Why must I seek my husband's "final word" for anything, unless it concerns the both of us?

I don't understand the whole concept of bowing down to a man. I gave birth to a boy who will grow into a man one day, and a girl who will grow into a woman one day. My husband merely had 20-30 minutes of fun. Who is more god-like here? I'm sorry, but men are beneath women. I'll never wear your draperies, walk behind you, silence my voice, fix your plate like a trained puppy...get real, you have hands, don't you?
