existentialism is an understanding that our lives need tot be such a mess , its to give in to time and befriend time , to understand the stars and delve philisophically into the world around us , each action to know whether u are stuck in one place or moment in time or whether u feel the flow of the river , its cannot be so easily explained , you only understand what u percieve,

I think we can't avoid our current experiences, but we can use them to change what happens next. If life is like a river, as you say, then we cannot affect what we've already passed and there isn't enough time to affect what we're experiencing. But if you tried hard enough, you could adjust the flow of the river further downstream, and encourage the river to take a different path.

I reject existentialism. It is basically another misguided belief system that rejects the concept of a creator and places man as the arbiter of morality. This results in submission of the self to outside forces. I totally reject the idea that man exists purely by happenstance.

I am a Deist. It is my reasoned conclusion that there is a Creator who has a plan. It is my conclusion that science and the Creator do not, cannot be in conflict.

I reject the belief that we are a few steps behind "time" or that we do not live in the now. To accept your view is to accept that we have not choice. Man is the only creature that we have ever found that has a realization of "self". It is that which separates us from animals or leafs floating on a river.

With all due respect, all of these type of belief systems, that seek some kind of enlightenment through navel gazing, seem to be the result of some strange coping method invented by powerless people who were constantly being conquered by outsiders. It is the belief of people who think that they cannot loose the race if they refuse to enter it. They don't realize that the only way to loose is not to try.

All of these have one thing in common that makes them totally unacceptable to me. They embrace non-violence and submission. They say and do nothing to oppose evil. If we do not oppose evil, evil wins. Such belief systems, while not in themselves evil, passively enable it .

There are many levels of human philosophies of existentialism.

You stated above:

"I believe in existentialism, do you think like me?
i like to think that time is not now but many steps ahead , and i am experiencing what cannot be avoided so im floating down the river of time , so im not special , but if i realise this then i can attune my lifestyle to to the tune of the flute of time and be special "

I would modify that to:

"I believe in Paradise-God Existential Realities, do you Spirit reflect as I do ?

I like to think that Eternity, the Absolute of time, is not now comprehended by many Humans, but many progressively will grasp this in many steps ahead. I am experiencing growth in Spirit; as we float in the the relative river of time within the larger One Way River of the Eternal, as an eternally Unique I am of I AM. I realize that I can eventually attune my will to to the meter and tune of the majestic will of I AM Infinite in perfect Paradise-Havona Harmony.

I have never heard existentialism described in this way.

Existentialism was defined by Jean-Paul Sartre who claimed, through his philosophical and literary works, that there is no ultimate "purpose" or "meaning" in the universe beyond that it merely exists, and each persons just "exists" and is responsible for his or herself. Ayne Rand, a notable philospher and novelist, was of this view as well. Identifying with existentialism does not necessarily negate identifying with spirituality or the belief in a deity or divinity. Theistic existentialists do exist (do a Wikipedia search for "existentialism"). Zen Buddhism is something of a form of existentialism. Radical monism, such as certain forms of Advaita Vedanta and philosophical Shaivism, also can begin to sound existentialist.

I consider myself to be an existentialist. I think that being is what it is in and of it itself without any purpose than existence itself. We just exist. Things happen as a matter of interdependently arising causes and effects. Human beings, however, create "provisional" meanings and purposes to, and we need to do this to survive. People need to have meaning even if that meaning is belief in an existentialist viewpoint.

Long live existentialism! By the way, time is a purely abstract construct and does not exist in a physical sense. But making what you want of time and of yourself is the point.

Mam. If you have never studied the bible, then ur in for some true enlightenment. It shows who God is and what he can do. He has the ability to draw our minds twords him only if we learn to trust him and our desire is to do his will. he can bring pease in the midst of trouble, he can MAKE our enimies to be at peace with us, he can and will do far far more than we can ask or thing. Just give him the opprotunity. Be blessed.

I think you are the only person in the world with this view. Looks like you'll be joining up with the Freemasons.

Time has been discovered to actually be now.

We have free will which means we have the power to create our realities each moment. We can't change what others do but we can change our reaction to what they do.

I don't like the idea of having my path set out for me, I do think everything turns out okay in the end though
