John 3:4-6

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Verse 5 says that you can't enter the kingdom of God unless you have been physically born. "Born of water" refers to physical birth as clarified (as if it wasn't already clear enough) by verse 6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh."

So, since the unborn cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven, either God has it in for the unborn, or they are not yet souls. The idea that the unborn are not yet souls is supported by other bible verses as well and there are none that contradict this point of view. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that abortion isn't a sin according to the bible - just not murder.

God forbid she do the responsible thing and use birth control (assuming the rumor is true, I mean. If not, I'm *sure* her virginity is still intact, hehe.)

I recently graduated college and started working in the 'real world'. I work at a staffing company and I interview people all day. I am in constant fear that someone is going to say "Wait a minute! You're just a kid, why am I listening to you?" (I'm 22 by the way)

Does anyone else ever feel this way?

Im sorry but america seems to be extremely stereotypical! I am Indian and anytime India is shown on the news and television you see crowded streets, beggers, snake charmers and cows on the streets...give me a break!!! Most americans know 3 things about India, poverty, gandhi and the taj mahal....pathetic. Even in american movies, they show only negative shades of India. Is the American medias purpose to make American people look at India negatively? When I go to India I see the silicon valley of bangalore and hyderabad...I see malls, restaurants, multiplex cinemas, hotels, beautiful architecture. I see poverty but not nearly as much as the american media shows...why is this?? I dont mean to insult the American people, but when will these stereotypes end?

about India:
India has 380 million middle class
largest film/music industry
Info tech and info systems Hub
developed plastic surgery/decimal system
MOST billionaires in asia
sexy models and actresses!
growing economy!

Something strange I noticed the other day and just wanted to ask around...
Does anyone else sometimes kinda "flip over" when they're drunk or on certain... substances? I was at a party the other day and was fairly out of it, and for some reason I kept staring at girls breasts. While for most guys this might be normal, for me its slightly worrying...
Anyone else have this problem, or am I just an idiot?

It has been proven that when Joseph Smith translated the "Book of Abraham" it was not the writings of Abraham as he claimed, but a copy of Egyptian Papyri. The Egyptian text was part of the Egyptian burial rites and is nothing close to Joseph Smiths translation.

(History of the Church, vol. 2, pg. 236, "... with W.W. Phelps and Oliver Cowdery as scribes, I commenced the translation of some of the characters or hieroglyphics, and much to our joy found that one of the rolls contained the writings of Abraham, another the writings of Joseph of Egypt ...")

Mormons, what does this mean to you?

Here is an interesting article about the translation process:

Many, like Adam and Eve, are hiding from a loving God because of the guilt of their sin. Jesus took care of that problem and now only wants to have a relationship with us again. Why don't you let him if you already haven't?

For me - I hate it when people pull right up to the front of the grocery store entrance and park their car, get out, and go inside to shop. Like they think they have a personal parking space while the rest of us have to park far away out on the lot. That really bugs me.

Yesterday this dude asked a question pertaining to the Bible and he claims that atheist read the Bible more than christians and that atheist understand the Bible more. I am no super theologan but I do spend a considerable amount of time studying the Bible. I am learning Greek and Hebrew in order to be able to read the original languages. I challanged this guy to email me with all his questions and comments about the Bible and we can discuss or debate as much as he wishes. So far I have no responses. Do you think this guy really wants to hear from a Christian that actually studyies and understands the Bible or do you think he feels like a big man for posting false statements and trying to categorize all Christians as ignorant about the Bible?

Could it be he thought nobody like me would actually challenge his false claim that Christians do not study the Bible?
