Please help me translate: " I`m glad you are ok, everything at home is ok too. I didn`t try to call you, must have been someone else. Here the weather is sunny, SUMMER IS BACK finally. Too bad its raining there... . Take care of yourselves, and we`re expecting you home. Regards, Janos KASZONI"

I have a friend who lives near a mosque. She says that every year during Ramadan - the people going to the mosque - park wherever they want - block driveways - etc. She has said that Muslims have a superior attitude. And now she is now starting to refer to Muslims as "those people" - etc. What can I say to her? I hate to hear her talk this way - and yet I understand her frustration. Please give me the words/explanation - so I can turn her attitude around.

Thanks!

As a Christian, I sincerely believe that if people with homosexual inclinations ACT on them, they put themselves in jeopardy of the Fire. But I know some will. So, regarding life here on Earth:

Do you think the "Gays" who stay mostly "in the closet" and don't broadcast their sexual preferences are happier here on Earth?

Ten points to the first person to say "yes" and have the facts to back it up--without quoting the Bible itself or using anything that references it. I'm talking objective, historical evidence of total infallibility and proof that everything in it is 100% accurate and literal. Undeniable proof that not a word could be wrong.

Good luck. =)

"Common sense" is often given as a reason one rejects the concept of deities.

"Common sense" is either something agreed upon by the general population or it is knowledge that you have which you consider simply obvious.

Atheism is not generally agreed upon. But if it is the second definition it is circular to cite this as a reason. "I believe X because I believe X."

Thoughts?

The spirit that lived as Jesus Christ is exactly who He said He is. One of the Morning Stars. The First lifeforms created, (given birth), by the Source of Life we call God.

In your opinion, do we hold the original version of The New Testament, with the Gospel of John, Matthew, Luc, and Mark, or is it possible that it was modified by the Church? and if yes, for what reason? Power?

What about the Gospels found in Nag Hammadi-Egypt? Were they really hidden because the Church forbid them?

I have a problem. I am a homosexual, but I don't want to be one. Alas, I have tried countless times to become straight, but I haven't succeeded.

Is there anything wrong with being gay? Yes, I think so. Homosexuality is morally wrong; that is what it says in the Bible.

I would like for the people reading this to make a list of tips for becoming straight. I've already tried many things to make myself straight, but maybe you know something that I haven't tried yet?

Is this different from when one calls upon gods? Is it strictly (or more so) nature based and less reliant on divine whim?

Love others as you would be loved.

Give others the freedom to be who they are, and to become whom they would be, just as you would have them give that freedom to you.

Everything else is politics and legalism.

This is more of a statement rather than a question. I have been a Christian throughout my entire life, nothing pisses me off more than people making fun of my religion. The reason why people make fun of our religion is because of people who claim they are "Christians" yet they do everything a Christian was taught not to do. I'm speaking about the people who do unjust things or do wrong to others and other things that I cannot say all within 556 characters of letters left.

Now, there are also people who claim they are Christians who think that everything that they cannot explain has a simple answer to it. God. Now that just arouses a shitload of bullshit upon us Christians, we think that everything we cannot explain only has one answer, God. That makes us look very unintellectual and possibly makes others avoid or make fun of our church.

I hope I helped a bit by helping you differentiate between the real Christians and the ones who only claim they are.

Who doesn't need praying..
