What your feelings about this? And what religion are you?

"Similarly, the Qur’an states: “Say (Muhammad it is) truth from the Lord of you all. Whosoever will, let him believe and whosoever will, let him disbelieve" (Koran 18: 29) “And so, [O Prophet,] exhort them; thy task is only to exhort: thou cannot compel them to believe.” (Koran: 21-22). “O Prophet.!…Thy duty is not more than to deliver the message; and the reckoning is Ours.” (Koran 13:40). These verses teach that a roof made out safety and liberty is an absolute necessity to develop faith in the hearts. These verses demand Muslims to guarantee freedom and safety for all. Therefore, if governments, Imams, enforced Fatwas, demand any public or outward obedience and submission, such outward appearance is not faith. When law, power, force, and tyranny enforce religion, they are taking control of the body not the soul.

yeah everywhere i go when i see an older woman "pop" now am not talkin about your grannies but like 30s 40s late 40s i just so attracted to them but when i see a young 16 yo girl in a shirt skirt absolutely nothing!

I am an asian myself. Yet, to be honest. I understand most of the Asian gals are shier than American gals base on their behavior and everyday life. It really hard for me to ask them out or anything like that. More importantly, many asian gals marry white guys these days and barely any asian guys marry white gals. Is it really true that maybe because I am just not brave enough to get gal's attention or is there some white attraction that I am not known of?

Humans love to see other humans suffer in movies like Saw and other movies like those...however we don't like to see other people fight THEIR dogs with other dogs? wait.... i forgot...we don't have to watch...infact noone has even seen them? however they go to protest Vick. Most of those people that are protesting for Vick not to play football....DON'T even watch football!!!

Most of you know I don't have convential christian views. I think God wants us to enjoy this earth not keep our mind in the clouds... As such, I, Emperor Insania, will share yet another song:

Is this wrong or do other guys do it too?

While using the urinal or taking a shower at the gym, I'll often catch myself glancing at the other guy's equipment. I don't get turned on by it - I'm just curious. People always wear clothes - hiding everything. It's kind of like a bloody car wreck - you just have to look. I'll look at somebody's hair or eyes to see what color they are, or I'll look at someone's ears to see if they're pierced. Sometimes I'll look at other guys to see how big they are, or whether they're circumcised. I know this is a taboo subject, as is nudity. I'm curious if most guys do it and just don't admit to it, or if I'm just overly curious.

I'm sure if I had access to the women's lockerroom I'd glance at them too.

First of all, I am a Christian but my sister asked me a question I couldn't answer so I am asking this group. My sister and her husband watched the Da Vinci Code and asked me a question I couldn't answer. How come the Bible doesn't talk about Jesus from his teen age years until after age 30? She wants me to watch this movie and I told her that Hollywood is not always factually with things. Could someone answer this question for me?

Reading the Federalist papers years ago, I coulnd't help but get teh impression that most of the founding fathers (especially Jefferson) were actually Atheists who had too much to lose to call themselves Atheists publicaly and not Deists at all.. Anyone else have an opinion?

Free-will. Exactly what is it and what is all the fuss about? Admittedly, I haven't really looked into this topic of heated debate much (it seems dreadfully endless), but as I understand it, it's really nothing more than freely and consciously choosing between alternatives in whatever.

Given: The bible condemns homosexuality in both the OT and NT.
Given: Christians believe that homosexuality is an unforgivable sin and strongly oppose of it.
Given: Some Christians believe that homosexuality is a “choice”.
Given: Some Christians accept that homosexuality is not a choice but nevertheless a sin. These Christians hold that it is alright to have homosexual feelings since it is not your choice, but you are not allowed to act upon those feelings or you’re considered guilty. These Christians view that homosexual feelings are identical to the urge to murder, steal, rape, etc., thus you can have those feelings but you cannot act upon them.

1st Argument: Is homosexuality a choice or not?
Analysis: One must ask:
1. What is the incentive of being gay?
(The answer is none.)
2. So why would someone choose to be gay?
(No one in their right mind would choose to be gay.)

Scientists have come up with a well supported theory of the origin of matter (Big Bang) and the origin of life (Involves deep sea crystals. Very complex, might explain it again), and they also discovered the first law of thermodynamics that states that at any point in time the amount of energy in the universe is zero. The origin of energy is taken care of. All that they need now is a supported theory of what could cause the initial disorder of the universe. Some have been suggested, I've even suggested one myself which has earned me the title of youngest philosopher of Ireland. So what we need is support for a theory or failing that some more theories. But when someone does figure it out then the god hypothesis really will be completely out of the loop. Is there anything that can save him?

Why don’t we just throw our cell phones and computers away? And modern medicine; it might give us too much power one day, so why don’t we just forget about it all? And horse power was good enough for our ancestors so it would still be good enough for us, wouldn’t it?

Or so I've heard from some friends (and from some of my experience) particularly on the scene ... where many times you are expected to be young and fashionable with a slim or gymfit body ... and people who do not fit this stereotype are often discriminated against.

Have you had an unpleasant experience on the scene? Or on the contrary do you find the scene very accepting of LBGTs who do not "fit the mould"?

I'd like to hear your experiences.

They are not Allah, nor do some of them follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Instead, they issue fatwas of death for insults, whereas the Prophet (PBUH) never did such a thing. What do you think?

I am not english native, I have noticed that when some Christians argue about God and the pascal wager comes about you answer *drink*.
What do you mean by *drink*? Can you explain that expression? I have sort of an idea but I am not sure , also where did that expression come from?

There are microbiologists and paleontologists who disagree with the Theory of Evolution. So why is it that some people get so upset if everybody doesn't declare their complete faith in it?

The concept of a Being transcending both time and space is not at all irrational. In fact, it is the only way to explain the existence of time and space, since, as we know, neither of them are eternal. Why are intelligent, scientifically minded people then so vehemently opposed to children being taught that God created the universe and humanity?
