pray to mary or any other saints?
no where in the bible does it say to pray to them...
Jesus said in matthew 6....

"This, then, is how you should pray:
" 'Our Father in heaven,

your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,

i didnt see any marys or saint what ever in there... so why do they pray to them?

I like metal music, typicaly the ol metal, Some of the bands i like have songs that say questionable things, like a song that is called the god that failed...... not about god or jesus, and there are others that are satanist.... it creeps me out, i want to know if i should immediantly stop listening to the bands

by the year 2015 over 75% of people will be obese. people will not eat healthy.
in places like vermont and new hampshire if you shoot a human being while hunting and say you thought it was a deer you will only get you hunting license yaked for a few years. an old woman in a pink bathgown wearing fur gloves was getting her clothing of her clothing line and was shot by a hick. guess what the shooter didnt get in trouble. a 17 year old was teaching a 12 and 14 years old to hunt and they shot a woman and ran. guess what. they got in no trouble. a man on a tracker mowing was shot and they said it sounded like a bear... they got in no trouble. this planet will end in 7 billion years...by using fossil fuels it is going to end faster. people will not give up gas...if the gas was to run out there would be mass-panic. when will people understand that we are destroying this planet. there are corrupt politicians. are you proud to be an american? what do you think? is this world messed up?

or do you walk like the children of Allah, or the hindu gods. You pray to them, you *think* you recive, and you really just did it by your self thanking God for what you did saying he did it. Giving prase to a statue that really does nothing.

my faith is not weak, I am just a curious one. What is it you need God for in your life that you can not do your self, and you will die if you do not recieve?

Life is not just being in a world that consists of a few dimensions and judged by elapsed time in passing through the here and now. Life has literally trillions to the power of google dimensions because you me and everything that lives, cares for themselves, where the one’s in power, are callous towards almost everyone of those different dimensions, except for their own that is, so what’s the difference between murder and killing?

How do you do it? When everyone around you is trying to console you telling you they're in a better place when you know they are not. If i had just lost someone only for the people around me to be telling me that god will take care of everything, i would go insane. In my heart I hate the facts of what I believe but I would rather have it and hate it than not accept it and live a life of a dream world lie. So how do you cope when others find it so easy by knowing god is in their life?

I earlier asked u Christians to justify these two verses, and the best they could say was that it was a typo O_o. How hilarious indeed. If it is a typo, why isn't it corrected? And are you going to say that all the internal contradictions in the bible are typos?

Is these two following verses typos too?

Older people are generally nice, but some didn't have great manners. I know that many people think that old people at some point start becoming like when they were little kids(need more help,etc), but arent things like manners learned when people are young and then not forgotten?? i walk with a limp from Spina Bifida and they were all staring at me in disgust. And also, when i sat down at the dinner area, i saw many whispering about me to each other and the ones who were hard of hearing were yelling to each other "whats with these school kids, they cant help us, why do they volunteer?". why dont these people realize what they are doing? they should know how to act towards other people, especially people like me trying to help. its like they learn manners as children and use it when they are adults, and then it all goes out the window when they get old. im 17 by the way.

We have caller I.D. at work. So, when folks call, I usually know who they are and what they want before I pick up the phone.

Is it weird to pick up the phone and say, "Hi, Mr. Smith, I have everything ready for you..."

I just think it's a waste of time to do the required greeting, wait for them to identify themselves and what they want when I already know.
It also feels a little dishonest, like I'm lying or something.

Is that weird?

There is a 3 digit number that repeats in my life constantly. It is NOT a round even, common number that would would expect to repeat like 125 or 300...I can't explain why, but I'd rather not say the number.

It is in my social security number. I hear it mentioned throughout the day, on TV commericals, or in zip codes or phone numbers. I always catch the clock when it turns that time. Often, I will hang up my cell phone after a call and see that my conversation lasted exactly that amount of time. It is actually even the size of the diamond in my engagement ring. It's really bizarre how this number always appears,being that it's not a round number.

I'm wondering if anyone has any theories on why I might be seeing this number so often.

mainstream christians dont do it but some groups such as CHRISTADELPHIANS and 7TH DAY ADVENTISTS women cover their heads in church and when i questioned them about it they tell me that it comes from CORINTHIANS where apostle paul wanted women to cover up in church.

but its not a teaching of jesus, but comes from paul

now when i did some studies about paul's background i found out that he originally came from a very conservative jewish sect and incorpoated some practices into christianity

when it comes to women covering up and been silent in church, i feel its all to do with pauls culture and nothing to do with the teachings of christ

could i be right on this friends?

Why do so many (I'm going to say most) say that we should free god because he made us and can do whatever he wants with us. But are against abortion? Should parents be able to do whatever they want with the kids they create?

And don't use the "god made the children" copout. Those people use there free will to create there children and interfering with free will is against your god's rules.

Poonstastic and I hate Niggggers, why do you guys have so much hate, its not my fault that my TYPE has threatend your sense of belonging. I mean if you really want attention you should go an try your hand at politics. I mean you guys would probably get really far.
