I do need God in my life...I need him to help me to understand life, I need him to help me to deal with people, to help me to control my fleshly desired of ripping off the head of someone who offended me, I need him to help me to see myself for who I am and help in changing me into the person he created me to be, I need him most for salvation because without that I am already dead..My favorite saying I had on a bumper sticker it said " I was dead once, I didn't like it" the truth is we are spiritually dead without Jesus. Peace.

I Think that faith is the answer. I think that when you submit and surrender to God in faith, you life changes. You have things revealed to you that others do not. It is like your mind becomes single and convinced that you are doing the right thing. It becomes like a drug addiction that you can never go back to non belief. There is a place in the mental heart that you feel the presence of God. Perhaps this is a desire to be Loved by the Creator. It is an over whelming sometimes that drive me with passion to serve an invisible God who is visible when I open my eyes and see everything around me. The Bible says that we cannot live without God. If God were to become dead then I feel that our lives would become no existent with his passing. We are like the manifestations in a dream God is having. This is how I conceive it. I am grateful to only experience a small part of it and serve God in any way I can because I choose to with every breath I take.

Yes I can say that I actually need God in my life, for he has given me life and he keeps on sustaining my life in many ways, he provides the air I breathe, he provides the water I drink, the food I eat, the sunshine that I enjoy, He has given me the ability to enjoy my life to the full, he provides me with guidance that I need to be able to have a happy life both now and in the future, none of these things could I myself provide for myself without God's help. No I do not worship lifeless statues, or mortal men, my worship goes only to the true God of the Bible, and him alone do I prayerfully praise, any way I can.

I truly need God in my life. I discover almost every day, to a greater or lesser degree, how lost I really am without God, and how much joy and peace I have when I surrender to Him.
Every day I challenge myself to gain more faith and wisdom. This is not easy to do. My pride, ego, and old habits tend to make things difficult. But as the saying goes, with God, everything is possible.
My only disagreement with you is with what you are implying about other religions. Islam means surrender/submission, and Muslim means one who submits. Most Muslims I have met in my life approach their faith similarly to I; they realize that one must fully submit to God's will in order to find peace in this crazy world. (I would argue that Gandhi, a Hindu, had a similar approach)
Peace be with you.

I need God in my life.
There is no answer I can give you that you will believe on why I need God, anything I say you will believe to be coincidence or something that I did for myself. So I will not give an example of why I need Him in my life. He is my guidance, my support, my strength and the light of my life. On these things I believe in Him for, my examples may be put down to some coincidence or some movement I started long before, but that is all I can offer, my testimony, my experience, If I had something miraculous then I would show it to you, but I don't and so I don't preach unknowingly, but search for the truth and question the 'facts'.

Me. The old hymn "I need thee every hour" about sums it up. I need God's enablement for the next breath I take. I can do nothing without God. And neither can anyone else. It's just that some people realize it and thank Him for His blessings and others don't.

If I didnt have God in my life, I would be very very lost.
I depend and trust only in God.
Not allah, or any other god, cause no other god has proven themselves besides God.
NO other idol, wooden, or otherwise, has shown themselves..nada
...one day you will wake up, and Jesus will say...well done my faithful servant..what other god has ever foretold the future,..or been under fire, and come out unscathed.

God is with me everyday and night. I give thanks for the bad things that have happen to me because they are lesson for me that came though him. He has helped me with taking good care of my father who will be 93 this fall. My fathers father died at the age of 91. My father enjoys life and still able to walk and talk makes coffee in the morning for us and reads to me while I'm making dinner that's a blessing in its self. My father had a heart attack last year almost died. But I stayed with him at the hospital the whole time he was there. God told me I needed to be with him that hold time I did it and hes fine now. I will never forget my father saying to me one night in the hospital about 3am in the morning I'm glad you're with me . I said to him. I wouldn't have it any other way.

If it wasn't for God we wouldn't be able to breathe on our own, so yes there is nothing that i can do by myself without the grace of my God Jesus Christ. God is not a statue, he is the one and only true living God!

We all act like little magnets. If we truly want God, we are going to seek God and be oriented toward God. If we truly don't want God, we are going to seek our own happiness.
How do we seek God? Where love is, there God is also. We are told to love our neighbors as ourselves and in loving them, we find God. It is an imperative that ought to permeate and orient every Christian.
