But seriously, I come here because a few of the questions and answers cause me to think.

While the sarcasm can be amusing at times, mostly I travel this way in hopes that I can honestly answer a serious question. However far and few between they are.

To answer questions on the faiths that I have studied and to disprove the lies and propaganda that some people post on here in the guise on "sincere questions" about religions that they wish to discredit. I freely encourage people to follow their own faith and will stand up for any faith that I feel is being unfairly criticized, so maybe I'm not the one to be answering this question.
EDIT- I did just report "god" below me. Even though he obviously deserved it, it felt wrong to have to report "god" in the R&S section. And I love u too Meister!

I've never come here for sarcasm. I think generalizations suck. I come to answer questions about atheism and to ask questions about religion. There are plenty of atheism-directed questions here.

To learn about different beliefs, I think education is one of the most important things a person can have and use in their life and the world.. Also to offer help and answer questions, if I think I can be of help to someone.

lots of reasons.
sometimes im in a bad mood and enjoy stomping on the idiots that ask rediculous questions.
Sometimes I feel good thinking i might help someone.
Sometimes just to ask a question to get it out of my mind.
and sometimes to get differrent veiws on something i am uncertain of.
