first of all, God doesn't control anyone.... therefore you have nothing to be emancipated from. he lets us decide to follow him or not. he isn't MAKING us do anything. thats why you are sitting in front of your computer making snide comments and not being forced to worship him. got it? and secondly, You may not have the same beliefs as Christians, but that doesn't mean you need to be so disrespectful now does it? no it doesn't. no one is making you believe the way we do, so if you don't want to listen to Christians talk about God, then don't listen. put on a head set, or simply walk away. its your choice. I'll pray for you, tonight before i go to bed. it's a shame because you don't know what you're missing. God is wonderful.

When you become emancipated you are legally independent from your parents (or your father). It does not stop the parts of you that is part of them (your parents) from being part of you. The same is true with God. You have a real anger towards God; these reasons are your own but are also influenced by those around you. You can choose a life that is 'emancipated' from God; in fact there are many stories about people who have done this (check out the story of the prodigal son in the bible for one such story). The truth still remains though, even when you emancipate yourself from God the part of Him that is in you, His love for you, still remains, that is something that no amount of 'emancipation' can remove.

Yes. You have your free will. God did not promise an easy way, but He provided the only way. If you do not long to be united with your heavenly Father in heaven, any other choice than accepting Jesus to save you, will be heading to the other direction.

You became emancipated 3 days after Jesus died on the cross for you, when he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
