I agree 100% with you.
I think the world will never get better but worse.

Yes, the world is completely in chaos.
However, this might sound impossibly cold, but do try not to view the world from such a perspective. I personally am acquainted with someone who was so in turmoil over the happenings of the world that she eventually fell into manic depression. It really opened my eyes to perceive the world another way, since I used to agonize over such things myself.
The world is not completely darkness. There is both good and bad in the world, and to writhe in despair over the bad and completely disregard the good is making the wrong choice. You always have a choice to feel a certain way. It is wonderful to take into consideration the condition the world is in and want to ameliorate it, but know that as one human being you can only contribute so much. You are very compassionate, and that is always a joy to find in this world.
Most of the people who have felt the same way you do take the complacent way out: they feel that they will be dead in a few decades and needn't worry about what will happen after death. That is fallacious thinking, since that isn't taking into consideration the future generations.
This is the pain and pleasure of being human: feeling the emotions of others.
Good luck!

Well your question is scattered to say the lease.
however I think you will not find anyone that doesn't think something is wrong with the world.
There is a lot worse things than burning gas. murder corruption to name a couple
As you wrote your question you were using electricity, so your contributing to the mess as well. Your probably in a house either cooled by electricity and heated by the same or natural gas. Sure the world is messed up but ya know what no one is doing much to help including you and I

I am proud to be an American. With all it's faults it still beats the many alternative places I could be living in( No offense to other countries or it's citizens). As far as my opinion of the world being messed up, I have found it easier to just try to control my own life the best I can and not get overwhelmed with issues I have no control over.

Yes there are major problems with the world we live in but there are also great thigns, you look at the world and you can see that there are things that can change but you can not look only at the negative aspects. Almost no one can boast of being the perfect person, or enviromentalist, but there are many who try, and while it may seem futile it is the effort made by few that impacts the whole, it goes both ways good and bad.

As for your prophesies, I don't believe in psychics.
As for the handful of injustices following a shooting incident, there are greater problems in the world.
As for fossil fuels, well you have a point there.
The real problems, however, in my opinion, stem from technology. We are slowly erasing a need for ourselves. Machines first took away farm jobs, then industrial jobs. Computers first took away some clerk and desk jobs, and are now taking away more significant business jobs. Robots have begun taking more jobs. Countless are outsourced to foreign countries where workers are minimally compensated. The result is that fewer and fewer have work that keeps them safely afloat above poverty conditions. Statistics show that diminishing wealth means increase in crime, mental illness, addiction, and violence.
It's all out of a never-ending pursuit of perfect efficiency. One early warning sign is the pinching of the middle class. Soon we'll have no professional need for our human selves. And then what?
