Nice question,
Truthfully speaking.............I never laugh as hard as I do when with my gay friends! I'm serious. I can't imagine my life without them. A gay man makes the bestus of friend for a female. As much as I love all my straight friends, if I got to choose who to get stuck on a deserted island with, I'd chose my 'Mr. Gay Blade' friend - hands down. We'd have a blast.
They are so real.
Blessings

I know and love several, my favorite lesbian is my dear sister - she's incredible! I admire her for living a wonerful life, being a good listener, being kind to others - even when they are not kind to her (although this unkindness has been extremely rare), for maintaining her Chrisitanity - she's not given up on her faith just because many who share it have given up on her, she is in a loving and monogomous relationship - I could go on and on about all the things I love and admire about her. She is the person I would want to raise my child should something cause my untimely demise. Lesbian is just one small portion of who she is - as is the sexuality of ALL of us. I don't think of her as a lesbian first - I think of her as HER first. I think of all the gay friends and family I have that way - as a person first - the gay thing, that's not WHO they are, that's the kind of sex they have.

Listen, there are all kinds of people who are gay. They're usually very sweet and kind, but not all, like not all people from any given group, nationality, race, or whatever, are the same.

I have many friends who are gay and bi, and they're among the sweetest and most adorable people I've ever met. I admire their strength and their sense of humor. Not easy to be different, and they're masters at the art of surviving the jungle with grace!! :)

I have many Gay and Lesbian friends and you know what? I just can't imagine my life without them. My friends are so loving, kind generous of their time, are very involved in the community as a whole and are just some of the best folks that I know. I love them ALL.

Yes, I got to know one young man that I later buried. He was a kind, generous person. He was in my opinion a great musician. Most other gays I have known are much like any one else. They are good loving people with very normal lives.

I have several friends that are gay. I find they're just like me, except they're attracted to the same sex. Its kinda like I like dark haired men and one of my best friends likes blonds.

That's really what the differences boil down to. Other than who they're attracted to they are the same as you or I, with the same problems, thoughts, wants, needs, etc. And just like everyone else in the world, there are really nice people that happen to be gay, and really nasty people that happen to be gay.

Being gay does not make you a different species - its just a variation on the human species.

I've always been by nature bisexual, presently in a long-term gay relationship that is certainly for keeps.
Well both my parents were Christians and quite homophobic, they always called gays pansies..."You're not a pansy are you son?"
I since discovered that winter-flowering pansies are the only flowers tough enough to withstand the snow in winter and to actually flower in my window boxes... so as with pansies, I admire gay peoples strength and enduring beauty even in the face of the most unrelentingly hostile conditions.

The person I've trusted most in real life during the past 9 years is gay. What do I admire about him? I can trust him. He is loyal and kind.

On average, they tend to be nicer than non-gays, (although a bit catty at times...). However, that's just an average. There are some gay people that can be mean, just like some straight people.

I've also found that they tend to be more open and less judgmental. They also tend to be creative and open to new ideas and experiences.

I work with alot of gay men and women.
I admire the ones who come to work and do their job.
God will take care of the whole sin part of their private lives.
Me? I just want a good co-worker I can count on!
