there is nor Holy Trinity. No where in the Bible does it speak of a Trinity. The Holy Spirit is what God is, also the Son of God. Those the believe in a holy trinity, speak of the spirit as if it was separate entity, its not, its God.

In John 1, it tell of the beginning, when we first see the God Family. It talks about, God the Father, and The Word, it says nothing about a entity called the Holy Ghost. When Paul wrote his letters, He send peace from God the Father, and Jesus Christ our Lord. He never said any thing about the Holy Ghost..No where in the Bible does it speak of the Holy Ghost as an entity.

The Holy Trinity

God : The Creator
The Holy Spirit : God's soul or spirit (the Spirit of Life)
Jesus: A piece of God's soul sent through an unblemished woman to become flesh

All three are one..this is the Holy Trinity

The trinity is the term used to describe one god, with 3 distinct parts: the father, son and spirit.

The concept and terminology of the trinity arose in the early middle ages as an effort to explain how there can be "one god" but also a son and a spirit. There is some support in scripture for this concept, but it is sparse and could be considered a reach. It also gave rise to the belief that man has a body, spirit and soul; whereas scripture seems to use spirit and soul interchangeably.

Just this atheist's two cents....

It is one God, consisting of three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

St. Patrick used the analogy of the shamrock to give us a better understanding ( although we will never fully understand this mystery while in this life). The shamrock is one plant but can have 3 distinct petals, still remaining just the one shamrock.

Read Genesis 1:26

A "trinity" is a spirit, a soul and a body.
God, is the "Holy Trinity"

Your spirit is the breath of life, (God) which gives you breath and which creates your soul... your soul is your individual life-force which is your will, thoughts and emotions. A person, (like God) is a living soul, when they are born of God. Your body is the conduit through which to make your spirit and soul manifest in a physical world.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.

"May the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1 Corinthians 15:52-52.

The body and the spirit are not separable except by God. The spirit is placed in us by God and only God can remove it.

according to chistianity, the holy trinity is three aspects of one god. the father who sent his son to die, the son who died for the sins of christians, and the holy spirit that was the son ascending into heaven. one god though. kind of like a split personality, but he's not one and then another in turns. he is all three, all the time.

It's the different parts of Yaway (the Christian's God) It's God (obviously, Yaway is a God), the Lord's spirit (commonly referred to the Holy Spirit) and Yehoshuah (Commonly referred to as Jesus Christ) is the Lord in human form, or the Lord's son.

God bless.

Good question.
It is unexplainable ....and non-biblical.
“The word Trinity is not found in the Bible . . . It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century.” (The Illustrated Bible Dictionary)
A Catholic authority says that the Trinity “is not . . . directly and immediately [the] word of God.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

The Catholic Encyclopedia also comments: “In Scripture there is as yet no single term by which the Three Divine Persons are denoted together.
