God forbid she do the responsible thing and use birth control (assuming the rumor is true, I mean. If not, I'm *sure* her virginity is still intact, hehe.)

Reported: Does your Dad go around trying to amend the constitution and enact laws based on Christian views about sex? Jenna's does.

For the record, I'm all for consenting adults conducting their sex lives as they wish. I also think that all family's are equal - from unwed single parents, to same-sex parents, to hetero-normative two kid families.

I don't think your bad, reported, but I'm sure many of Jenna's dad's friends think you are.

Two quick points - It's just a wild rumor, I won't believe it until there is legit confirmation.

Why do I care - Jenna's father won two elections in part because he & his party think they can tell other people/other families how to live their sex lives and which families are "ideal" via the law. Any other (rumored) un wed parent in the world, and I don't care. If Bush didn't make our sex lives and our families his business, I wouldn't care an ounce about his daughter's sex/family life.

I am unwed and pregnant. I was on birth control. I guess that makes me the worst person on earth.

Yeah, and guess what....I know a bunch of girls from school who are pregnant too. And there's plenty more unmarried women where that came from.

So, why are you singling this girl out? What makes her any different than all the other pregnant, unmarried girls out there? The fact that she's the president's daughter?

Big deal. It's not like he controls her free will.

EDIT:

"If Bush didn't make our sex lives and our families his business, I wouldn't care an ounce about his daughter's sex/family life."

Yes, that's why all unmarried and pregnant women are going to have to face a court trial and all the shame and punishment that comes w/ it.
NOT! Since when has he ever said "Don't have sex or else!"??? Never. That's why your statement is pure idiocy.

I don't think wearing that type of clothing proves anything. And that Wonkette website gives the impression of an internet-type of "rag" gossip magazine ie. the National Enquirer. Such glee they have at the prospect of Jenna being pregnant. The key word in this question = "rumor". :)

So what?! Her father isn't the boss of her. She is an adult. Her views don't have to be the same as her dad's. She is her own person. So, maybe she's pregnant. Frankly, it's none of anyones business anyway.

I would be more sad to learn that she is marrying a man she wouldn't otherwise have married in order to protect her image than that she managed to get pregnant out of wedlock.

If their evidence is that she's wearing "mumu-like shirts," then I don't believe it for a minute. Empire-wasted shirts that are big and flowy on the bottom are in style. They make size zero models look like they're pregnant.

Do as I say and not as my daughter does.

Rachel - I agree. It doesn't matter how small you buy those shirts, they still make you look like you're knocked up.

I love how so many support her, but condemn all the average women this happens to.

EDIT: Pascal's Cat, as you've PG13d your statement, I'm rescinding my applause.

I'm not religious, but isn't there a saying " He who is without sin shall cast the first stone"? Why do you care about her private life?
