Salvation involves the forgiveness of sins, as Jesus preached. Breaking a promise to the Holy Spirit is not necessarily the same thing as blasphemy. In any case, repent of your sins and ask to be forgiven.

God So loved the world that he send His only begotten Son to paid the price of our sins, so we could be saved alive.
God, by His grace will forgive you all your sins,if you have repented in your heart. We are flesh and blood so we are weak, and there for we sin, over and over, but God will for give you, over and over, just ask.
blaspheming , is talking bad about the Holy Spirit(God). this is unforgivable. Ever time you say you repent. and go and sin again, that's breaking a promise. God knows, the flesh is weak. and He will for give. It takes the help of Gods spirit to keep man strong. You must pray to God to make you strong. He will sent you a comforter(spirit) to be with you and help you.

You can be forgiven. Many, including myself, believe blaspheming the holy spirit means never accepting his invitation to come to Christ. So the only unforgivable sin, is not accepting Christ as your Savior. Therefore, all sins are forgivable if you accept Christ as your Savior and seek repentance.
Lots of good literature out there you might want to read.
God Bless !!

I've been struggling to understand Jesus' statement that "blasphemy against him could be forgiven but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can not be forgiven".
Lying to or breaking a promise to God is not blasphemy...that much I'm sure about. Blasphemy involves a contemptuous word or action against God, for example, saying that God doesn't exist is blasphemy. Blasphemy also involves claiming for yourself acts or rights that belong to God. If you claimed that you had the right to, for example "seek vengance" (something God reserves to himself) or to condemn someone to hell (something God also reserves to himself) OR if you asked God to give you something and then took credit for making it happen, that is blasphemy.
Now for the difference between blaspheming Jesus and blaspheming the Holy Spirit, here's the way I see it. The decision to follow Jesus is NOT the same as being filled with the Holy Spirit. The disciples were told to wait for the Holy Spirit to come to them after Jesus returned to his Father's house (after his resurrection)...and Jesus made it clear that they were already his followers before he left. Not all Christians ask for (or even know to ask for) the Holy Spirit to come in to their lives. However, once you HAVE asked for the Holy Spirit to come in to your life, you no longer just believe in Jesus and God, you KNOW that he exists because he lives within you. Thus, that passage indicates that speaking out against Jesus IS a forgivable thing because God knows that, without the Holy Spirit, it is likely that a person could misinterpret the teachings of Jesus. However, it is unforgivable to speak out against the Holy Spirit because a person that has received the gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him (or her) KNOWS that God (and Jesus) were real and fully comprehends the nature and scope of his rights and powers.

Though some things are unforgiveable, this does not mean you are not "saved"...even believers in Christ who have a secured place in heaven can theoretically blasphemy the Holy Spirit, which is unforgiveable...

Everything is forgiveable....you should not feel guilty for ANYTHING just as long as you have done no harm to anyone. Our purpose here on Earth is to experience, learn and work towards perfecting our souls. No good will come of worrying needlessly about things just because you have been scared by modern day Christian teachings (interpretations) of the Bible. It was never meant to be that we should be fearful of our loving creator....in fact why would we choose to love God if we were afraid of him? Would you want someone to love you just because they were afraid not to?

please dont go by EVERYTHING the Bible says because the majority of the text was written by Christian followers many years later after Christ was crucified. So basically what it is dictating is just here-say. Do you really think that God would automatically turn His back on you if you broke a promise to him? what about original sin? what about forgiveness and the reason why Christ died on the cross for us? doesnt that have any standing in the Bible? totally hypocritical if you ask me.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can only be done by a non-believer.....
Once a person is truly saved, they cannot lose that.....ever.
Breaking a promise will not separate you from God......only non-belief will.

Of course it's forgivable. It's already been forgiven. That's a fait accompli. Christ managed it some 2,000 years ago. All you have to do is ask for that forgiveness and repent of whatever you did to need it. It's yours. A freebie. Take advantage of it.
