Jesus Christ and Him crucified for our sins, and His resurrection. That is the way out of hell and into heaven.

If that is the central message of all the preaching of Jesus (and Paul for that matter), then it's the central message.

God's kingdom. It is not only the central message of the gospels, but the core message of the entire Bible beginning with Genesis 3:15 right through Revelation 21:3,4

That's not the right question.

The right question is "What did Jesus teach as the central message of the gospel?"

And that answer of course is found in Mathew = Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself.

Karma will get you in the end.

The gospels (plural) all bear the central theme that we should emulate the teachings of Jesus in our actions and our fulfillment of obligations to others.

The Devil is ours to accept or reject, by our free will and our love of our fellow man.

"Salvation" only comes to those who embody the principles that Jesus preached...it is not sufficient to beg for it without deeds.

This "message" is barely different from the Buddhist "message," though the desired end-results differ markedly. A Christian hopes for everlasting life and a Buddhist hopes to eventually reach a state of Nirvana where such a "reward" is irrelevant.

Exactly what Christ Jesus said was the Central Message:

Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.
