This is probably an obvious questions. Most likely Left toward the Democrats and Liberals right? But do Gay voters still vote for the republicans who dont want to see equality with homosexuals?
And with that in mind, Are there many Conservative Gay groups out there?

(I am a Liberal and not Gay but was wondering the impact on Gay Voters next election)

Thanks for your Thoughts!!!

I ONLY date white men to make the racists angry. I am a mixed Brazilian and I know they are angry and consider my date a traitor. I will marry a pure white man just to make them cry.

I was just wondering - hyperthetically of course.

But say you had a lovely boyfriend who nags all the time, how could you stop it?

A person who was dear to me was murdered about a month ago. I am angry with the police because they aren't putting any effort into the case. I feel like society doesn't care about certain groups of people. When, I see a "persons"murder make national news, I become throughly disgusted and I wonder why this dear person didn't get the same attention. It angers me. My anger is slowly transforming into hate.
Question: Am I being rational?

I was in an ancient civilizations class a while ago, and we were talking about ancient egyptian religion. A VERY religious boy in my class scoffed and said "That's crazy! How could they have possibly thought all that was true?" I responded by saying "But you believe your religion is the 'true one' how is that different? I don't see how you can mock them when logic and history dictate that eventually your religion will be in the same position as their's is now" and he got all huffy and was like "Well, this IS the only true religion! The bible says so!" I was like, "well, I'm sure they had books that said the same thing, and said they were 'the word of god', and would find it just as hard to believe that you followed the bible, as you do their religion." He turned all red and yelled "Well, God says that this is THE ONLY TRUE RELIGION" so I left it at that. I shouldn't have even let it get that far, but he'd been really bugging me. Anyways, how does someone smart believe so blindly?

Taking the Canadian system as your example and incentive. I have been waiting since June 9th for an ultra sound on my damaged shoulder, to see if there is a rotator cuff tear as they suspect and nerve impingement. The hospital told me yesterday they arent doing any ultra sounds on shoulders. They dont have the staff or the resources.

They dont "do" joints anymore.

I have been put on a 2 1/2 year waiting list to see a shoulder specialist. MAYBE around October or November of 2009 I will get to see one

My friend has been waiting for over two years for "emergency" knee surgery, so now its become a knee replacement and not a repair, and they have bumped her back further on the waiting list.

Americans have to REALLY think about a Universial Health Care system, if I was American I sure as hell wouldt want it.

maybe Im looking for an argument today, but I have this undying need to understand people, no matter what thier faith or belief, I want to know why, I would have been a better scientist than Christian. But I do have faith and really love the Lord, but I still have to know why, and from what I have been told, I am going to hell for questioning Gods word and not having enough faith. But, we mostly all agree that we are living in the end times, But we wont agree that God said that in the end times, his word will have been changed. by man. so if its so easy for you to believe Gods word and believe we are living in the birth pains of the end time, why is it so hard for you to believe the Bible has been changed to suit man, and I am wrong for questioning it?

For those who wonder why atheists are in this category, I ask you, if they do not belong here, where do they belong?

I could accept Philosophy, but the whole of religion falls under Philosophy. So, where exactly do you feel atheists belong in Y!A?

(Certainly not Cats, we've been down that road...)

when and where is freedom of religion in the work place acceptable? the dol (dept of labor) states that companies must make allowances for people of faith. However, are they going to far when placing religious material all over the workplace? with the workforce being so deverse, Is it an infringment on other peoples beliefs or non-beliefs? Because religion is protected in the workplace, how do one make it fair to everyone's faith and prevent lawsuits of discrimination?

I'm not sure what category to put it in without offending anyone?

I saw on wikipedia that light coloured eyes reflect more light or something, or absorb it cant remember, and dark eyes do the opposite
does this mean that in dark conditions it is easier for blue eyed people to see in the dark, which is why it is more common in northern areas like Britain and Scandinavia, where the winters are long and dark [even thought brown and blue eyes are both found, blue is more common here]
and people with more common dark eyes such as in Africa can reflect the hot, bright sun, as it is near the equator, and also is out for longer in the year?

natural disaster it's wonderfully amazing how we all bond, no matter what our beliefs.
If a fire hit your neighborhood, or a flood ensued, or a quake destroyed your neighbors home, would it matter what their beliefs were that would determine whether you helped another or not?
Would we be so nit picky about our differences then?

We have the same crime rate as americans just less security, saskatchewan is spelled that way.

we DONT say aboot, we say ABOUT

IT IS NOT ALWAYS COLD IN CANADA some temperatures reach up to 40 degrees celcius not 40 f.

Hello, I am a 31 year old Caucasian American. My family has been in this country for almost 300 years. We have fought in the Revolutionary War, 1812, Civil War, WW1,WW2, Korea, and I am proud to say that my father served in Vietnam as a medic, saving the lives of his fellow soldiers as well as the "enemy". I am also proud to say that to my knowledge, none of my family has been involved with either of the Gulf Wars. I am also a proud Muslim. So when the ignorant among you say we Muslims should "go home", where exactly do you mean?
