You can also try doing searches in Yahoo! Groups using Pagan or Polytheist in your keywords.

If you are looking for information on Hellenic Paganism there are several that I know of that are glad to take questions from people serious about learning including

Hellenion_Chat
HerculesInvictus
and se_hellenes

(DO NOT GO TO THESE GROUPS SIMPLY TO TRY TO CONVERT PEOPLE, it will not work and will simply irritate the membership)

Also, I recommend the book you can order from this website: http://www.winterscapes.com/kharis/

First of all I think its great you want to learn more about a religion that many people think is "horrible" and "evil." Tell them to stuff it and go out in search of more knowledge. Most people believe everything they are spoon fed in this life and never question why. The ability to think rationally is what sets us apart from the animals. I would start on line and google it. There are MANY sites and even books out there on new age religions and paganism. Wicca is a very interesting religion as well and one that I have looked into. Peaceful, earth centered and based on love and respect of the world and the things in it. How could a religion get better then that???? Good look to you and I hope you become more enlightened!

Libraries are great for research. There are some decent, serious books that deal with paganism. Here's a couple of websites you might find interesting -- they both have excellent essays and learning materials for paganism in general.

Good luck in finding your true path. Don't let the people here intimidate you into one way or another.

It depends on what kind of Pagans you want to learn more about.

For Neo-Pagans, this isn't a bad link to start with, although it only touches on a few of the different religions that fall under the Neo-Pagan umbrella:

And for once, the Wikipedia article on the subject isn't half bad:

At an encyclopedia. My online one gives a lot of other titles to check, though it doesn't say much more than a page about "Paganism." The field is pretty full of information to digest, since it's old as the hills!

Try this first for more info possibles:

The best place is with the Pagans themselves. Meet with them. Talk to them...and more importantly LISTEN to them. Try your local metaphysical or occult book/supply shop. There are ALWAYS a few of us there.
