I have alot of CD's.. I don't have just one kind of music that I like.. as far as the more Pagan spectrum.. hmm.. one sec..

Inkubus Sukkubus (originally spelled with C's not k's) is great.. I've loved them for years.. they range from a more soft rock to a slighlty heavier goth/rock sound.. this one is one of my favorite.. (and one of the softer ones)

Loke E. Coyote.. I would love to see them live.. it seems like a hell of a lot of fun.. known more around Texas, their music is kind of .. camp fire pagan..

Sharon Knight (from Pandaemonium)

Faith and the Muse (not exactly a "pagan" band.. although their music comes from blends of pagan imagry..)

Faun (a German Pagan band that reminds me of Blackmore's Night) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WypmGwzisE

Abney Park (not sure how pagan they are.. but found them on a pagan site and the music is amazing.. my favorite is Dear Ophelia)

Nebelhexe

Emerald Rose

hmm.. okay, this can go on forever.. That's just the ones I could find links to.. I have so many more.. and I listen to all of them..

Here's a site I check regularly.. I love the variety of artists..

I like Texas Music/Altcountry and Folk, for the most part . . . although I've been known to throw the occasional Ministry, Rage Against The Machine, or My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult in the CD player. Just to make things even weirder and more eclectic, I'm also a huge fan of bebop era jazz, especially *early* Miles Davis. :-)

Oh, and I like Cocteau Twins and traditional Icelandic fiddle. And I'm a total Rolling Stones fanboy! *G*

Favorite artists are Robert Earl Keen, James McMurtry, Willie Nelson, Jarrod Birmingham and Kris Kristofferson. ADDED: Besides, for Viking Metal, what has ever been cooler than THIS?

Don't think Ive ever heard Pagan Metal....
I'm a big fan of Wendy Rule, met her a few times she's a beautiful soul.
I also love Miranda Sex Garden and Mediaeval Baebes, they're mainly Pagan although they do a lot of christian stuff.
I don't make a point of listening to pagan music, but if I come across something cool its a bonus.
Wasn't Stevie Nicks a Pagan?

Personally I prefer traditional Celtic and Native music to heavy metal stuff. To me music should relax you and put you in a meditative mood. I have one cd called: American Indian Rock Opera by the Brule group. I also have a Celtic Bagpipes cd and those are the only two I listen to when I want to get my heart rate up.

My music tastes are a bit tamer than yours are. I like the music of Blackmore's NIght, Lisa Thiel, Elanie Silver, Wendy Rule. folks like that. Some loud and energetic music but hardly the level of Metal. I'm an old Phart, what can I say? LOL

Some of my favorite Jethro Tull tunes have a decidedly pagan feel to them. Dun Ringill, Jack in the Green, Cup of Wonder, and Ring Out Solstice Bells among them.

i'm a metal head - have been for 20 yrs. i'm pagan, have been for over 20 yrs. funny enough, most of my friends are pagan, but most don't listen to heavy metal. i guess blind guardian is pagan metal.

we listen to a lot of emerald rose, spiral rhythm, lorenna mckinnet (sp?) in the house. i try not to have anything too heavy playing when the younger kids (12, 9) are around because of the language sometimes.

there are some great pagan radio stations on live365.com

a very dear friend of mine is castalia - a pagan musician. she travels around north america doing concerts. you can google her if you like - she's folk. even plays the harp. in fact, she might teach my 12 yr old how to play it

anyway, i'd be curious to see who everyone considers to be pagan metal, cause i'd love to check out new bands!

oh, another friend of mine has a great pagan podcast. his name's deo. he and his wife just got back from a retreat with tibetan monks. i'll get some links

I find Gregorian Chants to be an amazing enhancement to meditation.

Also have some recordings of repeated mantras I put onto CD through my comp. They're pretty fine, too.

But another one of my favorite methods is taking a Leonard Cohen song I'm particularly fond of and fill a CD with repeats. Take This Waltz is one such, along with a dozen others.

I listen to a lot of Bathory, Hammerfall, Unleashed, The Real McKenzies... I'm definitely a metal-head.
I also like a lot of the stuff from Odin's Gift http://www.odins-gift.com/
And Kirby Wise's old old tapes.
And I listen to a whole lot of music that isn't pagan.
