Claymore. A Scottish highland sword.
Or perhaps Phil the Sword. He had a cutting wit.

is this an actual sword your trying to identify? or is it something you've made up and are looking for a good name to call it for like a story or something?
and if its one you're trying to identify, how about some more info...whats the style? battle sword? decorative sword? thin blade? thick blade? any particular designs?

Sounds like an abbreviated claymore, LOL. Two hand sword... or hand-and-a-half if the guy wielding it is a giant.
If you want an individual name:
Dragonsbane
Dragonbiter
Lionstalon
Wyrmsmiter
Zenoslayer

Tears Edge...Why, because that's what popped into my mind. Possible Reason, the variable meaning of "tears" and "edge" can give so many meanings to just two words and they all can be applied to a sword and its vocation.
