I've looked nearly everywhere and still can't find it. I asked my girls where it was and all they say is "nope, not telling." I absolutely have to have it tomorrow. I have checked in their usual hiding places and I have came up with nothing. The last place I had it was in my purse on the kitchen table. Any ideas of somewhere else to look?

This has been going on for a couple weeks now maybe off and on and I'm really worried about it. For some odd reason my son who is 15 months keeps trying to gag himself. He puts his finger all the way to the back of his throat until he throws up. I don't understand why he does this. Is this just something I'll have to let pass, I think I should make a doctor's appointment most likely. He usually does it when he's in his high chair, but there has been times when he has just been walking around the living room and trying to do it. I'm hoping maybe somebody else has gone through this and can tell me why or what it may be. Thanks for everyone's answers.

I've been babysitting the same kids for almost 3 years now. They're wonderful kids, ages 6 and 3(both girls), but since the oldest one has started kindergarten she hits or kicks me when she doesn't get her way, especially when I won't let her watch t.v.(their father doesn't want them watching more than 2 hours a day). The youngest doesn't do it as much but it's getting more frequent with her. When they do kick or hit me I tell them that it hurts me and ask them not to do it again, but they do it again anyways. What should I do?

we have an almost 11 month old, and we have an entertainment center with glass doors on the bottom that are operated by pushing on the top to "unstick" the magnets. one click to open, another to close. our son has figured out how to open it and get to the stuff inside. anyone have any suggestions on how we can keep him from opening it? right now we have a box in front of it, cuz we are moving and starting to pack, but when we are moved we don't want to keep a cardboard box in the middle of the living room! looks a little tacky, ya know? so any ideas are appreciated!!

Just wondered if any one had read the baby whisperer and done the toddler quiz? My toddler who is 16 months is "spirited" and wondered if anyone else had a spirted toddler. Isn't it hard work sometimes when there always on the go? What activities do you do?

We took her off her medicine around 6 months because we thought it was over (our pedi okayed this) and now it seems she is night waking a lot, moaning in the night and displaying the same symptoms. I called the pedi and she said to go ahead and try her on Prilosec again, but I'm just wondering how common this is? She was a VERY good sleeper before and she seems perfectly healthy, but seems uncomfy sleeping flat.

I currently watch a 4 yr.old boy and i used to be good friends with his mother throughout H.S. The problem is that I started watching her child after we ran into each other again a few months ago. She used to live with her mother but her mother and father both passed away within the last few years and she is now left with very little family contact otherwise. To get to the point, I have noticed that her house is very filthy and reeks of cat urine badly. Her kitchen sink is over run with dirty dishes that run from the sink across the counters to the stovetop with mold growing on them. Her floor of her kitchen consists of dirty laundry next to baskets of clean laundry which sit beside the overflowing cat litter box which is very fowl to say the least, I have even witnessed her childs clothing laying in the exposed litter box. I have had occassions where her child has come to my house and just reeked of cat urine and had to bathe him myself. She has had CPS there but nothings changed

We make him go pee before he goes to bed, but if he has to go again he whizzes around his trash can. He doesn't recall doing it in the morning. It happens about once every two months! He doesn't wet his bed either. He's been dry through the night for about 3 years. It's brand new carpet too. Yikes.

My daughter (just turned 2) ALWAYS has a runny nose, and she wakes up hoarse a lot because of it. It's a year-round thing. Any ideas as to what this could be besides allergies? I don't know whether to start at an ear, nose, and throat specialist or at an allergist. I, myself, have several, year-round environmental allergies (dogs (which we have), cats, rabbits, several molds (which is bad this time of year where we live), several trees, weeds, and grasses). If you've had a child with this kind of problem, what did you do?

My son is eighteen months old, for the past couple months for some unkown reason he has began sleeping with myself and my husband in our bed, he will go to bed in his crib at night but then wake up at about 3 am and scream and cry until he can come lay with us, then he will go back to sleep until morning. I find this to be a real problem for a number of reasons: first of all i enjoy sleeping naked next to my husband but obviously feel uncomfortable laying naked next to my toddler son, second we only have a queen size bed and its just not big enough for all of us to sleep comfortably, and finally i just feel like he has his own bed in his own room why shouldnt he sleep in it. my husband on the other hand feels that him sleeping with us is just fine and sees nothing wrong with it.i have been reading online ways to transition him back into his own bed and have decided to start 2nite but how can i make this work when my husband will just get him when he cries and make me feel bad, thoughts?

I catch him once in a while laying on his stomach, rythmically rocking back and forth so that his penis is being rubbed by the floor. People have said this is normal, but is this normal so young?? Does he even have hormones yet that would make him feel like pleasuring himself? Also, I know you aren't supposed to yell at them but it really grossed me out because he is only a little boy. I wasnt ready for this until the teenage years.

My 2 1/2 yr old son wakes up before both me and my husband and for the past 2 mornings i have found him in the knife drawer (just butter knives but irregardless) and getting into food. I set my alarm to try and beat him to the punch but yet again he was up before me. What can i do to keep him from doing this? What can i do so i dont have to worry about him short of waking up at 5 am?
