My husband and I did a "Baby (Boy's) First Birthday" theme. All the stuff is available at Party City or through party supply websites. Cartoon themes are very cute, too, but they're one one once.

Hi there! Happy birthday to your son! Our daughter is turning one in February and we are doing ELMO everything! :)

Hope your day is special !

P.S. If I had a boy, I'd do Elmo, Thomas the Train or John Deere theme!

I also recommend "Birthday Express", I got my little boy the rubber ducky theme from there and they were great, it was so easy. The Rubber Ducky theme was so cute, he loves bathtime and he was the "lucky duck" for the day. Also Walmart has great cakes and your son will get his own cake free. Good luck and remember to have fun.

Does he has a favorite character? Something that everytime he sees it make him go crazy? Maybe a color. When I celebrated my son's birthday he used to like colors like yellow, bright blue and red, so I decided to use Sesame Street and he got crazy about Cookie Monster. Take him to the party store and let him see what you are watching. There's gonna be something that catches his attention more than other thing.

try www.birthdayexpress.com
it gives you a bunch of theme ideas for 1st birthdays and the option to buy in packages or atleast gives you the idea you can go to party city, or even walmart to get the stuff for the party itself, but remember he has to have is very own little cake!

The Curious George stuff is cute. Or you could do something like a circus theme.
