about a year old.. they love them and they're a great healthy snack without the risk of choking.

I've heard not to give raisins until at least a year old and quite a few teeth...and the same goes for any dried fruit. It can be a choking hazard if not well chewed.

It is actually better to not give your one year old raisins because if their teeth are not grown in yet, they can get cavities below their gums. Once about five teeth fully grow in, I would say that it is safe to have raisins.

At about a year old, kids can assimilate raisins. I would make sure that they are soft ones and not stale.

raisans maybe healthy but they are also acidic which can cause tooth decay - particularly in young children.
usually offer them to children from 1 upwards - but constant supervision is needed - choking
to prevent / limit tooth decay, offer milk as well as this cancels out the acid - and makes a lovely snack
