I think there is a rule of thumb.. One child per year. You don't want to many. I think Five friends is a nice size party. =) However thats just me..

For my daughters 5th b-day we just had friends and family over, since she had not started school yet. But for her 6th B-day we invited her whole class with was 48 kid, plus friends and family a total of 65 people. We had a total of 18 kids and 12 adults show up. We had a party at the park and they had a blast.

I would say invite close friends and family.

One thing to think about is how many adults will be there. That will make a difference. It comes down to how many 5 year olds can you handle running around without going crazy! If there are going to be more adults there you can probably handle more kids, if there will only be 1 or 2 adults you may want to have less kids there. Cost will also be a factor, the more kids there are the more it will cost.

Depends on what type of party you are having...Tea parties are really fun for that age, and I would probably invite 5 to 7 little girls.

Get your daughter in touch contained in the making plans of her party. I did that with my 5 12 months previous who had her birthday in December. We desirous to do one craft mission, a pinata and some team video games. however on the day of the party we ended up purely doing the pinata and between the video games. something of the time the females had to play with the toys contained in the playroom and each and each and every of the balloons. however it changed into countless exciting and bigger relaxing than if I had compelled each and each and every of the video games and projects.
