My daughter is useally a really well behaved nice sweetheart but lately she has been driving me crazy because when she gets mad she not only hits me but kicks me, bites, pinches, and squeezes me. The never has been or never will be violence in my home. I do not understand her behavior. I tried talking to her but really she doesn't want me talking to her. I have tried, in a stern voice, saying "no" while clasping her hands. I try to put her in time out but while taking her there she basically beats me up. What should I do to discipline this behavior?

I saw the 9.99 package special, but they don't list prices for additional sheets on their website. Has anyone used them? Were you happy with your pictures?

My son has been waking up during the night and my partner and I thought he was just attention seeking (he wanted to sleep with Mummy and Daddy). But I put him in with me in the night, he woke up screaming and even though I tried to comfort him all he wanted to do was pull away from me, and he did the same to his Dad. He really scares me when he does that, and I feel so sorry for him. My mum suggested that it might be night terrors, I'm just wondering if this is it, it's as if he's asleep and doesn't even realise that I am there, I am worried about him, I asked the doctor, but they had nothing to suggest how to cope with it, if anyone has any ideas please let me know, it would be much appreciated :)

When my daughter was small she used to call weeping willow trees "spagetti" trees. My other daughter used to call her Flintstone vitamens "Yabby Dooby Onions". Let's hear yours.

my son says he hates me and doesn't love me, but delights in telling everyone else how much he loves them, usually in front of me. He is being assessed for possible Asperger's Syndrome, does anyone know if there could be a link with this behaviour as I can't see what I've done wrong?

I seems as though discipline has has been taken from parents, teachers/schools and even church's. At what point are we going to stop being soft on children and get back to old fashion consequences and disciplne? I am not saying going upside a childs head is a good idea, but our society is too soft on kids to the point they seem to think they are above punishment. Am I wrong about this our just blind?

Email me. I found an ebook online about knowing the signs of readiness and how to effectively train in 3 days or less. worked in 2 days for my 19 month old daughter, and I would be happy to forward a copy to any other parent in need. Take care!

We have just gone fall/winter clothes shopping for the last 2 weeks for my toddler. She was a 2T before the summer and by the end, all of it was snug and short on her! We go shopping again for the cold months and find that the 3T is huge and the 2T that was once small is now a little big. Anyone else noticed this? Is there a reason? My hubby thinks it might be because toddlers now adays are bigger in size (hence the adjustable waistband for 2T that they did not have in the spring). Just wondering if I'm the only one out there!

My 21 month old son throws his food on the floor, we tried ignoring it when he was younger now we make him get down and throw it in the trash but he just thinks it's a game. I need some ideas on how to get him to stop all together. (I'm not going to spank him or anything.)

She has gone beyond tantrums and is in a rage if she doesn't get her way or has to do something she doesn't want to. We are at our wits end as it's been going on for 6 mo now and ignoring her isn't working. Actually she gets louder and the neighbors have gotten us thrown out of our apartment because of the disturbance. We are trying to fix the problem before we get thrown out of anywhere else.

My daughter, she's 14mos. old and when she was a baby we tried every formula even soy, it made her constipated until my dr. suggested similac lactose free, it's milk based but has no milk sugars or lactose. it worked completely, now we tried lactose free regular milk, it still makes her constipated, i told my dr. she said oh if she had an allergy to lactose there would be a lot more she couldn't eat, so she suggested whole milk, nothing works dr.'s especially at kaiser always try to beat around the bush, so if any 1 has suggestions i'd greatly appreciate them, wut about goat milk?

My daughter recently turned 4 and constantly asks questions that she knows the answer to, or asks the same question several times over the span of a few days. For instance, if I say a word or phrase while talking to her she might ask me what it means, so I tell her. The next day she might ask me again if she hears the same word mentioned again. When I get tired of answering the same questions and I respond with "I don't know", she will proceed to tell me what the word means. She did the same thing when she was around 3, asking for instance "What color is this?" even though she knew her colors very well. She is an extremely bright child, but this just seems a bit odd to me, and I was wondering if anyone else's kids do this?
