when my youngest son was around 2 we had a picture of a horse on the wall. Sometime we would call it a pony sometimes we would call it a horse...........he put the 2 together and somehow called it a pu.ssy.... with lots of work and argument (with him) we got him to say the "H" and call it a horsey.
When my oldest son was about 5 or 6 there was a tornado, he always called it a time machine when ever he talked about it. it took us almost a month to figure out what he was talking about.

My son used to call green beans "choo choo's." We never knew why.
There's also a chemical plant that puts out a lot of pollution. Every time he sees the white smoke, he says, "look momma, there's the cloud machine!"
My daughter is just learning to talk, so everything is cute and funny when she says it.

When my brother was younger he used to say "mill-ill-ium" for millennium. He also used to say "mah-be (not may-be) I will mah-be I won't" and just walk away. My favorite is when he thought "pumpkin" was a bad word. My grandmother called him her pumpkin and he ran to me crying. He then pointed at grammy as we call her, gave her a mean face and said "she called me a pumpkin." It was the most adorable thing ever.

When our little one was about 2 she would do different faces based on emotion, all with a smile of course and when it came to surprise, she'd say ' A-prize'. When she was three, after an egg hunt she was looking at her reward and discovered to her 'A-prize', that it was a chocwit! My favorite though was when she was over a year old, her favorite sesame street character was 'Elmey' (Elmo)!

From the time my son was little fella, he always has had the best manners. Everyone has always commented on it. He wouldn't just say "thank you". He would say, "Thank you so VERY much" and "You're so VERY welcome". It was so cute.
