Ok, I have a few issues, I'm guessing it's the terrible 3's I'm dealing w/ but I just wanna make sure. He will not potty on the toilet. I've tried bribbing, sitting there for several minutes at a time constantly and putting cheerios in there and telling him to aim for them..Nothing..He says pottying on the potty is nasty..Also, he has a horrible temper. Neither me or his dad has a bad temper, we are very calm when we get mad. He throws hissy fits like kicking his feet and throwing things. I do the time out thing, he gets to sit on his bed and hates it. For those for spanking, I have tried it, it does nothing. Can anyone give me some advice? I appreciate it.

I am concerned about a 2 year old who drinks crystal light instead of juice. Her mother feeds her many sugar free foods. What is this doing to her nervous system?. She is very emotional and has a behavior problem.

face. He had to have a general anesthetic. Now the problem is it is not dogs first offence it has nipped tommy several times prior. My mother fed the dog near where my son was playing(whilst in her care) and this is how attack happened. To me it is neither dog nor child at fault, but the adult supervising, however my mother say it is Tommy's. She has not guaranteed us safety for further visits and we remain at a stale mate. We would be foolish to visit her home or leave Tommy in her care again if she can not guarantee us his safety. How do we get through this issue without causing a family breakdown? I would have thought a grandmother would want to put her grandchilds wellbeing well in front of an animal? I don't want the dog put down but I do need my mother to take responsibility for her actions, not lay blame on a 3yr old. I have been educating my son as to how he should be around animals. I feel I failed as a parent for not instilling enough fear in Tommy toward animals.

What can I do ?Just watch her ruin her life? Her father isn't in her life, she wont listen to me.I called the school, guidence is very upset with her. Talked to the boys mom & dad ,he's doing the same.Co-workers say kick her out &let her see what the REAL world is.But that will mess up her chance to go college & even finish school. Is there anyone out there in INDIANA (agency)that can put their heads on right??!!I'm petrified, this is a chance of a lifetime.I wish I could just send them both to bootcamp-but she's 18-now.Is there no intervention out there for kids like this?????PLEASE TELL ME

My 2 year old (since she was an infant) hates to go poop and she'll hold it in as long as possible. But she's miserable when she has to go and she'll cry and whine until she goes. She's not constipated and her doctor said there's nothing much we can do about it. Has this happened with your kid and did they ever grow out of it?

This boy is a nut...lol. He is absolutly into everything.... EVERYTHING. They are staying here with my husband and I temporarily and he is such a challenge. He has in the past week dumped an entire container of baby powder on the floor, finger painted with Balmex on his bed, emptied the clean laundry hamper all over the floor, dumped sweet oil all over his bed and that stuff doesn't come out, ripped up books, ate chapstick, thrown his entire plate of food onto the floor face down on my carpet......the list goes on and on. We try to keep an eye on him at all times but there are 3 other kids here too. (ages 6mos, 21 mos, 5yrs) I mean you have to be able to make dinner and give the other kids attention and baths too. It seems like if you turn your back for one minute and he is climbing to the highest shelf to get anything he isn't allowed. We try to keep the things that can hurt him up....but there are 7 people in a 2 bedroom place....it is hard. Nap and bed are a disaster!...more to come

Ok, my wife and I are concerned about her daughter. She is only 2 but she has made really innapropriate comments and does things that a 2 year old should know nothing about. When we tell her not to do that and that it is bad she says, "daddy does it". She has been known to lie about small things when you ask her a question. But when she comes up with stuff out of the blue it makes us wonder what is going on at her dads. So, I guess what I am asking is: Is there any kind of small camera that can be put in a hair bret or something of that nature so we can find out if he is messing with her? We need something that can be on her if her cloths are off. Any advise would be appreciated.

Should I fly or Drive with my 16 months old son.

The drive is 15 hrs. My son hates to be in the car seat for a long time. If we drive we can of course make stops along the way at the rest stops and he can run around outside, but will be in the car seat for the majority of the 15 hrs. We can also stop and eat but then he is in the highchair.

The other option is to fly. We have to go the airport 2 hrs early (I believe) and then the 1st flight is 2 hrs. There is a 2 hr lay over where we can walk around a little but he really can run around because its not a good place to do that, in an airport. Then the 2nd flight is 2 hrs. We then have a 5 hr. drive to where we are going.

What do you think is the better/easier choice for my 16 months old son.

Thanks for reading and for your opinions
