I don't know how old you are-if you're a teen there's alateen and if you're an adult there's alanon. Look them up on the web, they're part of AA and have all of that covered on their site. Good luck

I think that you need to talk to other members of the family. I'm not sure how old you are, but either way it is better if you have some other people that can support you. There are help lines that you can phone, they can usually help put together a plan for you and the rest of the family. If confronting your mother is not something that you think that you can do now then they can just talk with you and help you sort out your feelings. I know what you are going through my father was an alcoholic as well but thank goodness he got help for himself. The one thing that i do not suggest is that you confront her on your own. some alcoholics when confronted get very angry and burst out.
Good luck to you, I hope things work out.

First of all you need to realize that if she does have a problem it is not your fault. Sometimes problem drinkers want to blame others for their problem and unfortunately many times it is their children. If you have a father in your home maybe you could go to him and tell him your concerns. Grandparents, aunts and uncles are also people you could talk to about it. Most schools have counselors who are trained to help kids with alcohol problems in their home. Just remember that until she gets ready to help herself that no one can get her to quit. Good luck.

You don't give much information, but do you have enough family/friends to stage an "intervention"?

i don't know if you and your family is saved but you should pray for her and trust that God will take care of her. Maybe consider going to church and i don't want to force you to do something you don't want to do.she might not want to go but that will be fine just let her come to God. try not to give her trouble just submit to what she says but not if it is against Gods will.
